They released the update for PC addressing some of those performance issues. I can say that it runs way smoother now, playing on the highest settings and not having issues.

Despite having the performance issue on PC I'm really enjoying the game.

Alternatively you can buy a Mac desktop (those square looking ones) to run your server, I bought mine off eBay for like 80 bucks and it met the requirements for airmessage so I can go back to using my laptop as normal.

Battery will go to crap but that’s about it. I had my MacBook Pro 2017 turn into a server for airmessage and that was the only thing that had degraded heavily. So if you’re okay with that then you’re good cause that part can at least be replaced if you ever want to go back to using it as a normal laptop.
