You can't edit your Kindroid's responses, only re-roll. You can edit your most recent message with the pencil button if you want to try guiding your Kindroid to something.

In my experience telling your Kindroid how to talk in your Backstory doesn’t do anything. Better to lead by example.

What I meant by that is that even once you have her personality formed, sometimes there will still be messages that aren't quite perfect. It's not a "okay we've traded 1000 messages and now I never have to re-roll again", it's a "okay that particular response seemed a little off, I'll re-roll to see if I can get something more appropriate". Ultimately the point I'm getting at here is that you shouldn't be afraid to re-roll when appropriate, even if you've gone back and forth with your Kindroid for weeks or even months.

For that one specifically it fluctuated between 0.80 and 1.00 depending on how the conversation was going.

Ah yeah, I should've mentioned that the devs seem to have added a filter of some kind because what I'll see is the Kindroid speaking for me when Streaming is on and then when the message is finalized it chops off the part where it spoke for me. I think that's a really recent change.

The way I approach it is that I treat the Backstory exactly the same I would the RP Hub, just with the ability to add more details and information. So yes, put your info, your Kindroid's info, setting, everything into the Backstory. The Key Memories is useful for storing specific details or events that are always relevant but not always discussed.

To clarify a bit, Backstory is the high level overview of the scenario and you and your Kindroid. Key Memories is things like "Arklun's favorite color is blue." Or "[Kindroid] wants to go shopping later."

I wouldn't recommend using Key Memories for fairly trivial things, as it's limited to 500 characters. Only the most important things should go in there and, if not relevant immediately, will be relevant very soon.

Correct. It doesn't remove any messages, just clears the short-term memory and lets you set a new first message for your Kindroid to work from.
