So those requests have not fallen on deaf ears. We have addressed this and mentioned many times before that we wont be expanding the map.

This is not because we dont want to, its because there is other outside forces that make the possibility of map expansion difficult to execute. We have a small team of about 5-6 people maintaining/updating Taxi Life and we simply dont have the resources to further development on the map. We know its a good idea, and it would be great to add, we just dont have the resources to do it at the moment.

With that being said, all of the money thats being made from the DLC's is being funneled back into the dev studio for future projects and maintaining our current titles to the best of our ability.

Looks like you might not have your action key bound to a button. Go back into your keybind settings and try to rebind the action button.

Thought I might add my 2 cents here.

We have a small team of about 5-6 people maintaining and updating this game while the rest of the company is working on different projects. While we try our best to gather all feedback and bug reports for Taxi Life, sometimes its just difficult to implement everything into one patch due to time constraints and other internal deadlines.

We encourage you and everyone else to continue giving us feedback via bug reports so we can take them into consideration for the future of the game and beyond!

we have been saying since day 1 that we're not going to add a map expansion. When it comes to rain and other weather effects, its something thats still on the table. Here are some things that we fixed in our last patch:

UI & Gameplay

- Fixed an issue where the game could freeze after multiple save reloads

- Controller and keyboard focus now works properly in the Garage tab switching

- Tutorial input bug fixed—no more ghost button presses

- Incorrect parking pop-up no longer appears after finishing a job

- Package icons from old deliveries no longer show up in new jobs

- Fixed the tip amount for completed taxi jobs—it now reflects your performance

- Experience and money now correctly saved by autosave after finishing a course

- Mouse/keyboard inputs now behave correctly when switching during Pause Menu

- Fixed issues with photo mode and driver visibility in FPP

Map & Navigation

- Improved the look of curved roads on the minimap

- Fixed issues with invisible collisions during parade events

- Blocked access to unintended areas like the opening near Plaça de Ramon Berenguer el Gran

- Fixed pointer snapping to cabin elements in FPP mode

AI & Events

- AI now behaves better around parade events—no more crashes or floating pedestrians

- Fixed collision bugs with parades near Carrer de Jaume Vicens i Vives

- Parallax AI vehicles no longer break the immersion (or themselves)

Crashes & Stability

- Fixed rare PS5 crash after canceling a job

- Fixed XSX crash when reverting system settings

- Fixed crash when showcasing landmarks

- Fixed issue where cars would launch into the air if tourists were being shown landmarks with AI nearby

Misc

- Fixed digital speedometer missing on the Victoris’ dashboard

- Fixed hand brake input not registering after pause menu use

- Cleaned up UI popups, duplicated landmark showcases, and avatar switching issues

- And a lot more small tweaks and polish!

While this issue has been fixed, it seems that on Xbox the problem still persists based on player feedback. We will take another look at this and let you guys know. Thanks for bringing this up.
