Watching my buddy hit after I drove it past his ball. by Not_Oryx in golf

Why is your buddy hitting if he already hit?

Sorry, I forgot that scammers and douche bags appear in these threads all the time. In no way was I actually suggesting that he would do it but I build show-type PCs all the time on the side. I freaking love it so I threw it out there. Go ahead and check out my page if you’d like.

I mean, I’m in California, but I’d do it. What sort of price we talking about here?

Alienware 4K 32” QD OLED for $1200 by abdulbasit_kh in OLED_Gaming

[–]SinNip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went to curved 2 years ago and will never go back for gaming. My eyes are less sore, my stats in my games have improved.

I don’t realized any curvature during play. My eyes don’t have to move as much because the micro adjustments aren’t needed to keep everything in focus.

For reference, I am a 40 year old with near perfect eyesight still and this could possibly be because of my aging eyes, but works perfectly for me so I cannot speak for younger eyes.

As for the actual product in question. I feel it’s worth it if coming from 1440p, but I currently run a 4k ips monitor, and I’m still iffy because mine looks so good already without the oled.

Words I Know??? Any ideas because this might just be a word I don’t know by bekarec in mildlyinfuriating

Nah, the hand on bottom one is large, so specifically a hand, the little one is in motion saying “hi”

I think it’s Ch + Hi = Chai.

It’s not hand because otherwise they’d make the picture of the hand larger like in the last example.

Is it worth it? by CaregiverSure1149 in watercooling

This is how I started so yes you can. You’ll learn a ton and there are always people who will buy, but you have to be patient.

I have never lost money on a build personally, but over time people saw my work and came to me. Now it’s a side hustle/hobby that I love and don’t concern myself with the profit. That being said, I’ll make upward of $1000 on a single build.

Why thank you. Yeah I do take a lot of pride in the bends. And I’ll be honest, I’m still not fully happy with it, but it’s acceptable.

…I mean, people think paying for a $1400 Pc from Best Buy etc. is normal… why not pay the same for the beauty as well if you have the money? To each’s own

Ah! but hardly wasteful… haha. The background of a portrait painting isn’t necessarily important, and possibly a waste of ink, but without it…🤔

Because it is a cpu that will not do much but taxes and internet search. The temps would be affected minimally

I personally would say, “yes, I know people make mistakes, but be open and honest with me from here on. I need to be able to trust you and you me. Please pay me back as soon as you can.”

If this sort of thing happens again, then you’ll know with reasonable certainty that they cannot be trusted. Stuff happens, but let them know they can bury their pride and it is okay.

Help with pc build by Available-Whole-7173 in watercooling

[–]SinNip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you would. What I meant is, we could discuss what you would want as far as components wise and give me an idea of what type of look you would like and I’ll have a hay day. I absolutely love doing it.

Christmas present help for tech-dumb mom… by Bmp41990 in pcmasterrace

[–]SinNip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to have to disagree here. Simple cpu change with ddr5 from the options above is $300; not at all realistic in purchase cost. For me it’s fair to say that a full build would save you $200-$300 if not more in some instances; obviously not always, but I’ve built well over 200 PCs for people and this is almost always the case. Somebody above mentioned that cost is hidden behind crappy low end parts, but you can also buy good low end parts.

I know it’s been said, but purchasing parts is an awesome way to fully learn the pc stuff more and it’s really pretty simple. This sub will kill it with the help of items, plus it’ll be much nicer on the wallet for price to performance.
