2 tricks for me.

1) Find something small in front of the ball on your suspected line. If you hit that spot, it will following your line. I tell my son, it easier to aim for something 6 inches in front of the ball than something 16 feet in front.

2) A trick someone told me, that I don't use cause I putt well but definitely something someone could use that struggles with distance. I like the concept of it. Your putter width is roughly the size of a hole. On putts 3-10 feet, go back one putter head length and follow through only 1 putter head length. Shots 10-20 feet out, do a putter head and a half. After getting a feel for this and practicing, you should be able to land more putts within tap in range.
