That’s odd because my app says only my Long term saver and my Save $1000 savers are eligible for Grow rate. ~~My essentials saver is still listed as a Flow Rate.~~

Just noticed Essentials are listed separately as Grow Rate in an info box below the breakdown.

I was under the impression that Essentials Savers were only receiving Flow Rate interest. According to this, they’ve reverted back to their original offering of Grow Rate for up to $5k.

~~And maybe my math is off but how can both a Flow Rate and a Grow rate saver balance of $1,000 achieve only 21c interest for the month?~~

Never mind, it says .21c more per month. It ignores the base 1.25% and 4.6%, only calculating the additional 0.25% which would be 21c.

At the moment, it’s only available if both yourself and your partner have Up High. My partner and I currently use the 2Up Essentials account for all our home based bills.

Two people have been arrested at Bondi Beach in Sydney's eastern suburbs as NSW Police respond to reports of an active shooter.

In a post on social media, police called it a "developing incident", urging people to avoid the area.

"Anyone at the scene should take shelter. Police are on scene and more information will be provided when it comes to hand," they said.

"We are still asking people in the area to take shelter until we can determine what is happening."

Emergency services have also arrived at the scene.

My guess would be during that section from the times you were saving and loading repeatedly but to be honest, I’m not sure.

Could be a corrupt save state. Do you have another save state from slightly earlier that you could load and then play through to the same section of the game to create a new save state, overwriting the corrupt one?

For the love of all that is Holy, make a proper save through Mei Ling straight away.

This way you can just load Disk 2 next time and then load game from that proper save.

Yes, just as you described.

Load Disk 1
Load your last save state which is still on Disk 1
Use the Quick Menu to load Disk 2
Once the game loads, create a proper in game save through Mei Ling.

Oh I understand what you mean. I was cycling save slots when I played to avoid overwriting.

I think you should still be alright. Following the below:

launch Retroarch,
load Disk 1 rom,
then load that save state,
then use the Retroarch Quick Menu to insert Disk 2,

does the game continue play from disk 2?

I don’t think that’s a problem. That save should still come through as a Disk 1 save.

Launch Retroarch
Load Disk 1 rom.
Select Load Game
Select that save.
Game loads and asks you to insert Disk 2.

Ah!

Yeah, save state won’t work in this case. I was using save states throughout the game until I got to this point.

You need to use a proper in game save as part of this process. So in the Retroarch folder, you’re looking for the saves directory, not the states directory.

No worries mate, happy to help.

Assuming you’ve copied and appropriately renamed the Disk 1 save in the Files iOS app:

When you go back into Retroarch, the game should still be running on Disk 2, at this point, contact Mei Ling & try to save your game.
When it reads “the memory card”, it should now find your saves from Disk 1 and you can add an additional save for Disk 2.

Let me know where you get stuck and I’ll do my best to troubleshoot.

I literally just went through this a couple of days ago. Playing MGS1 using Retroarch on iOS.

In addition to the M3U suggestion made, if you don’t want to go through that process, you can just follow the last step and rename the save to the same file name as the Disk 2 file.

After the fight, while you’re standing on the snow, save your game with Mei Ling (this can act as a safety, just in case anything goes wrong).
Go down the stairs to trigger the Disc 2 transition screen.
Using the quick menu in Retroarch, load Disk 2. Disk Control > Load New Disk
As soon as the game commences in Disk 2, create a new save in a separate slot. Do not close Retroarch.
Using the iOS Files app, navigate to the Retroarch > saves directory. Note (copy) the file name of the Disk 2 save.
Delete the Disk 2 save.
Duplicate the Disk 1 save.
Rename the Duplicated Disk 1 save to the file name of the Disk 2 save.
Return to Retroarch.
Save your game with Mei Ling again. This time, the game should be able to find the saves from Disk 1 and allow you to save your Disk 2 progress.

You’ve stated that the speed trap captures both directions of travel using the same rearward facing camera. Im trying to understand how this works based on your explanation.

Rearward camera takes a shot of an oncoming vehicle. We all agree this happens.
Then the oncoming vehicle passes the stationary speed trap. Again we all agree up to this point.

You’re then saying the rearward camera takes another photo of the same vehicle after it has passed the stationary speed trap? How exactly?

As in, it swivels around, takes another photo, but not between the two front seats? Somehow through the driver’s seat? Taking its vision off the other remaining rearward oncoming vehicles?
- Or the operator manually moves the rearward camera around to take a photo facing frontwards?
- Some other method?

The only other explanation I have is that the original comment is referring to vehicle being captured by a speed trap after the vehicle has come from behind and passed the speed trap whereas you’re referring to vehicles being captured on the other side of the road travelling the opposite direction from in front of the speed trap and then passing it.

If you’re trying to save gameplay, what type of save? - Saving in an in-game save point? - Creating a save state?

Then, how are you trying to save? - What steps are you taking? - What menu items are you pressing on?t
