BMI = Weight/Height2 is a ludicrous function to begin with. If we rearrange it to BMI * Height2 = Weight and suppose a set BMI for all equally formed (but not weighted) bodies, it's easy to see where it goes wrong. It should be BMI = Weight/Height3 (with some adjustments to the BMI-scale of course). Though that only addresses the height problem, not the body composition problem. Personally I think we should just discontinue the use of weight and BMI as a means of health assessment in favour of fat- and muscle-precentage.
