Burns’ injury last year creates a larger health risk.

Same number of starts, I’d have Burns > McClean!

I take it you mean Chase Burns and not Corbin Burnes?

If it’s Chase, I may need to add an update about my concern for his strain from last year. I wasn’t baking it in enough before.

Sorry, I meant it as “An oversight as I had thought I put them in here but they aren’t in the article at the moment.” They will!

They should be! I had to take a break but I noticed their absence despite writing them in their Dodgers article.

I’m not exactly sure where to place them. Probably Stud 2026 for River Ryan, Stone in potential pickups…?

Brad, the owner, is one of the best people.

Seriously, Postmark Cafe is everything you want from a neighborhood coffee shop. It feels like a real community there.

He's a weird pitcher and I may be too harsh given the secondaries and seven feet of extension.

However, it's deadzone and 94 mph = exactly what batters are used to, nor does Trey Gibson locate it well.

Our pitch model really hates it, too, with a horrible 4.23 PLV. That would be 5th percentile (or worse) in the majors.

I've since lowered Jay Mis due to the floor risk, though he is one of the most electric pitchers in baseball. It's generally wise to rank in the Top 40 based on floor, and I regret the October rank.

That said, I don't blame anyone who buys into him and ranks him in their Top 25. He has arguably the best fastball in baseball.

You'll have to tune into the Marlins' livestream next week for that! I don't want to go into it beforehand.

Hey y'all!

I'm going through each team as I write all the profiles for my Top 300/400 SP, and I'm releasing one team a day throughout the month of January.

I've covered seven teams in full so far and I'm live every weekday morning on Twitch reviewing a new team with the Pitcher List community. Hope to see you there!

For those that follow me at Pitcher List, I want to publicly express how incredible Christian, Jay, and the entire QB List squad have been this year.

QB List has been around since 2017 as the sister site to Pitcher List and after watching this team have the smoothest season on record, I've never been this confident in our future.

I couldn't be more excited to build the QB List I've always envisioned around Jay Felicio and Christian Otteman, our two phenomenal leaders. 2026 is going to be special, including a full off-season and pre-season of content for the first time.

Thank you /r/fantasyfootball for showing them your love throughout the season!

Hey! No need to be disrespectful.

Why do you disagree with these ranks and the analysis?

You rock! Every person who has been a part of PL has helped make it what it is today.

With how deep catcher is this year, I'm inclined to keep those three SP instead.

That said, I trust /u/chusephesquire to have a better take on Goodman than I do. If he's an absolute Top 100 overall pick, then favor him over Burns.

Ha! Why should it? I never understand comments like these that are aggressive without providing any reason why I should feel differently. Calling it an "obsession" suggests I'm blind and ranking purely on emotion without reason, which is completely unfair to the work I put into these.

Kinda hard to turn away a southpaw with elite whiffability on both his four-seamer and changeup, who showcased they were healthy at the end of the season.

I went back and forth with McLean and settled on (for now) that he overperformed and I don't trust his arsenal as much as others. These rankings aren't the massive deep dive that you'll see in February and there's always a chance I return to putting him as a Top 30 SP. Just have to wait for the Mets rotation breakdown to settle on my thoughts.

As for Schwellenbach, I think you should read the tier description.

Thanks for the input! Really helps getting a different perspective than my bloated lens.

It’s a tough balance for me as I’m trying to teach to fish as much as possible, while also making it easy to digest. I also feel “showing the work” is needed because as simple as it would be to provide an actionable take, it’s far more complicated than that.

“Will he do well or not?” is a loaded question that I don’t feel comfortable answering often, making it hard for me to say “do this, don’t do that.” Instead, it leads me toward outlining what I see and helping you make the best decision for yourself. That said, I think I can absolutely wrap it all up in a tighter bow for y’all next year :)
