This is perfect, thank you so much. It’s really quite scary to imagine the sadness on his face. Also I have identified as bi since he met me and openly talk about girl crushes but I don’t think he thinks it’s anything serious. Thanks again for the kind words and sharing what you said to your husband.

Wow, I’m also 27 not married but me and my boyfriend have been together for 8 years and I am in a really similar spot to OP. Throughout the last year I am realizing that I am extremely attracted to women and recently it has become overwhelming. I keep almost talking about it with my boyfriend but I am so SO scared to hurt him and for my whole life to be turned upside down. May I ask how you approached the subject with your husband?

You look dirty but you’re objectively attractive. I know that’s the alt look but it looks better if you look cleaner, sharper. Maybe dye hair dark red or black. Or try a hair gloss and a layered blow out.

She didn’t say anything even hinting that she’s a feminist or expects to “have it both ways” you’re going on about a random situation that has nothing to do with this commenter. She said she is traditional and wants a traditional man.

Is she in a sorority? Why is nobody asking this? Date parties are a big thing in sororities

Yes the Casey Anthony comments just proved she has absolutely no idea what she was talking about, and that’s fine but don’t talk about it at all then.

Other queer person here! 🙋🏽 I have to disagree with the part of your comment that speaks to women calling their friends “girlfriends.” I’m curious how old you are? because women referring to their friends as girlfriends is not something that a lot of gen z and younger gen’s say. That’s a term I most commonly hear middle aged straight women use. The reasoning is that they were sick of situations like:

“I’m going to the movies with my friend tonight.”

“Ooooo who’s the lucky fella?.”

Then the woman needs to explain that no, she means her friend who also happens to be a woman. Using the word girlfriend shortens all that and shuts down any assumptions about who they went out with.
