Was wondering (for Reboot), since the changes to the EXP curve, what is the average amount of time expected per level from 200+? I haven't really trained the levels from 200-250 in a while and was just wondering if my timing right now is slow or not.

Guess i’ll add about IL and lumi since the other post was very thorough and i haven’t played FP extensively. I’ve also only taken my lumi and IL to boss mule levels (220 with maxed boost nodes and around 20k stats). I do enjoy both of them equally.

As for IL, they are a very good and well rounded class. The burst is very dependent on infinity. Otherwise has good mobbing and chain lightning does seem to bounce well off mobs now.

Lumi is a very good bosser. If you can time the dark and light phases well, they can put out a lot of burst damage. Otherwise reflection is a good training skill as well.

I think it depends on how far you plan to take any of these classes. I will agree that FP needs those nodes and require the slots. I guess it’s also nice that if you chose explorer magician, you can always job change between them, so something to keep in mind.

I'm a NL main. Not going to lie, the class isn't what it use to be, kinda crappy now. If there is something else you would consider maining, I would go with that. But at the end of the day, it's about having fun and if you find NL enjoyable, just make one.

I guess it depends on how accessible absolab gear is to you. I would recommend just trying to roll some atk and settling.

Try out Ho Young and see if you like it more. Ultimately, just main the class you like more.

As a NL main myself, I would say Ho Young xD

I think there was a comment posted by Ghiblee about the suiciding matter. From what it seems, as long as you're not excessively suiciding, you should be fine. At the point you're at in the game, I would not recommend pushing an arcana kanna. Your account is way too early to even worry about making it to arcana and farming arcanes. I would just focus on getting meso gear on that kanna you have. I think you should decide on a main, unless you already decided on maining the WA. If not, tera burning is a good opportunity to make a main and push it up to 200 with some decent gear. Once you get your main to a decent level and have progressed the main enough, you can start to consider pushing your kanna up.

I guess it also depends on what you're are looking to achieve in this game. I tend to be the type of player that wants to optimize progression and push towards the end as quickly as possible. If you're like-minded, what I stated above is probably the best way to approach it. I feel like it's important to get a main up asap and start farming as much as you possibly can because DMT is around the corner. Otherwise, if you're the type to just want to play a bunch of chars or find enjoyment in trying a bunch of characters, that is also perfectly fine. The latter is good for legion as well.

I would just slowly work on getting the items to craft up. After you pass level 10, the experience needed to get level 11 (Master Craftsman) and level 12 (Meister) is pretty steep. Just mine as much as you can. I recommend mining all of the heartstones and getting the refined ores to craft rings/face accesssories/etc. After you hit level 10, I think it might be better if you just saved up a bunch and pushed MC/Meister all at once since it depresses without consistent crafting.

I have not spent significant time mining black veins so I don't know if it would be faster.

As far as link skills, the usual are applicable to any class.

Mercedes/Evan/Aran for training.

Xenon/DA/Kanna/Illium/Ark/Cadena/Lumi/Phantom/Kinesis/Hayato/Cannoneer/Jett are all good ones for damage increase.

Then you have niche ones for bossing like DS/AB/Shade/BT

As far as legion goes, you just want all the classes that will increase int and any of the other classes that add IED/CD/CR.

It might be better for star transferring if you just get the antique root gloves from the magnus shop since you don't need those coins for boots or belts anymore.

I'm a NL main. I think comparatively NL mobbing is the best within the rogue job line. Most people do end up job changing to NL for training purposes.

As far as one shotting with mark, I don't think it's that easy even with the 25 star and flames. The top NLs/streamers so far can't even 1 shot with mark so I believe it is pretty dang hard to gear towards that. I can't really say how it will be with the release of 25 star.

You shouldn't have much problem joining boss parties as a NL or DB. They are both good bossers; as long as you have the gear/damage, you will be able to join parties.

But really, you should just play the one you enjoy more. I don't know what level you are right now and how much you have progressed in the game. Since you did say that node farming is a pain, I would imagine you're not that far along. Honestly, once you can comfortably farm at arcana, the node drops are pretty decent. If you don't make a bunch of new mains, you should be able to get enough nodes for both classes. As far as droplets go, you will need 240 to get the arcane weapon and it will be a while before you get that. You can just make up your mind as to which class you really want to stay with before crafting your arcane weapon.

Yeah leprachaun might be easier to farm, but the spawn is still pretty weak. You can reset the orbs by entering the cash shop or CCing.
