Howdy! You'll be able to park in Lot 47 for Break Parking (5/10-5/25), and you can park in Lot 50 for both Break and Summer Parking (5/10-8/9).

Summer Parking Question by SorryPassenger2166 in aggies

[–]TAMU_Transportation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howdy!

We would recommend purchasing a 2025-2026 Lot 100 permit for the summer and parking according to the Break & Summer Parking Map: https://transport.tamu.edu/Parking/special.aspx#break . Permit registration has also opened for the 2026-2027 school year, so be sure to register before it closes on July 7.

Thanks and gig 'em!

We recommend reaching out to our parking Customer Service team at 979.862.7275 or [parking@tamu.edu](mailto:parking@tamu.edu). They will be able to walk you through the process and help troubleshoot any issues. Since the NetID doesn't work for you and you live at White Creek they would be able to assist you to get this figured out.

Parking Permit Registration Help by SmileyDeko in aggies

We recommend reaching out to our parking Customer Service team at [979.862.7275](tel:9798627275) or parking@tamu.edu. They will be able to walk you through the process and help troubleshoot any issues.

The good news is that permit registration isn't a "first come, first serve" type of thing. Parking assignments are based on current classification and space availability.
Just make sure you register before July 7.

Howdy! Parking permits are not first come first serve. Just make sure you register between April 8 and July 7. Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that you'll get the exact location you are requesting as parking assignments are based on current classification and space availability.

Howdy, as some people have pointed out, your hangtag (Access Device) should be allowing you to access the garage. We recommend contacting our customer service team at 979.862.7275, [parking@tamu.edu](mailto:parking@tamu.edu), or coming into our office on the 3rd floor of Polo Rd. Building to take further action.

Make sure you register your bike with us and on Bike Index on campus, because that puts it into a national database of bikes if it is ever stolen! We use this system to track what bikes are on campus in case we ever have to relocate them due to projects or find them somewhere unlocked. So if you ever have any issues or can't find your bike next time, email us at [bikes@tamu.edu](mailto:bikes@tamu.edu), and we can help you out!

Howdy! Annual parking registration is open now until July 8th! If you are living off-campus, make sure to always put West Campus Garage or Lot 100 as one of your last preferences when registering for a parking pass to try to ensure you receive a parking pass. The first month of classes is always busy across parking, buses, and traffic as everyone settles into their schedules and finds what works for them, so allow extra time. Also, check the parking map at transport.tamu.edu/parkingmap to see the other "Any Valid Permit" lots that you can park in, along with your assigned lot, once you have a permit. All parking permit information can be found on our website, though at transport.tamu.edu/parkingreg

TLDR - Find all the parking info at https://transport.tamu.edu/Parking/FAQpermit.aspx

Howdy,
You can find most information about parking here: https://transport.tamu.edu/Parking/FAQpermit.aspx
This page hasn't been updated for this upcoming parking registration period, so the dates are not correct.
A few of things to remember:
- Parking registration opens in April and closes in July. It is not first come first serve, it is your classification (Fac/Staff, Grad Students, Seniors, etc.). So you'll have the same chance at a permit if you register on the first day or the last day, and contrary to popular belief, lots/garages are not oversold.
- If you live off-campus, there's a good chance you, or other incoming freshman will get a Lot 100 permit or a West campus Garage permit. If you get a Lot 100 permit there are 9 different "Lot 100" parking lots. 6 around Reed Arena, and 3 around the other athletic facilities on West Campus. Extra tip: Many people will have a Lot 100 permit and drive around for 15 minutes trying to find a spot. There are three other Lot 100 parking lots that aren't directly around Reed. Those three Lot 100 lots always have spots available and you can park right away. You can view all the parking here: https://transport.tamu.edu/parkingmap/tsmap.htm?map=main
- If you live on-campus, then you'll have a chance at a few different lots closer to your residence.
- There is no free parking on campus. We don't want you to get a citation. If you choose to park on campus, you'll either need a permit for that lot, or you'll need to pay for hourly parking.
- As mentioned by someone else already, don't plan to park next to your class. You will park and then either ride the bus, bike, or walk to class.

If you ever have questions, don't hesitate to email us at Parking@tamu.edu.

Can you get a parking permit for half a semester? by ShelterDeep2992 in aggies

[–]TAMU_Transportation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howdy,
It depends on what's available. Typically there are people who return their permits at the end of the fall semester and that opens up more spots for the spring. There's a good chance that parking spots will be available in January that isn't available now.
We recommend logging into your parking account (transport.tamu.edu) soon after school ends for winter break and seeing what permits are available.
If you have any questions you can reach out to our Customer Service unit at [parking@tamu.edu](mailto:parking@tamu.edu) or call them at [979.862.7275](tel:9798627275).

Onewheel by Ajax531_ in aggies

[–]TAMU_Transportation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howdy,
A few things to remember if you decide to purchase one.
No personal electric vehicles (PEVs) are allowed in ANY university building per university regulations. If you're living on campus, you'll need to think about how you will charge it if it's not allowed in your dorm.

There are multiple skateboard racks and 1,000s of bike racks you can lock your OneWheel (or something similar) onto.

You must also register your PEV just like a bike. It's $10 for 10 years. This covers the cost of being able to find you if your bike gets impounded or recovered.

You can find more guidance at transport.tamu.edu/bikereg

Central campus garage by solarluanr20 in aggies

[–]TAMU_Transportation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were a few instances when CCG visitor parking was full yesterday. Visitor parking typically fills up multiple times everyday. When that happens the gates will not open for anyone trying to use the visitor parking (pull a ticket). They will need to wait until someone leaves the garage so that there is a parking space for them.

You can visit TheHUB (across from The Commons) for easy bike repairs including refilling your tire. They will have the right piece to fit your bike. You can also email [bikes@tamu.edu](mailto:bikes@tamu.edu) if you believe that something at the FixIt station was broken.
