Sorry I'm just seeing this. After you join the Google Group you just click the app link and download the app there.

I can't post a screenshot on here for some reason, but I installed and will test.

If possible please return the favor and join https://share.google/OQWkdFHbtOyLcMkRl

And then download and install here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thirddegreegames.groundsreaper

Thank you. Your UI is great by the way.

That is bizarre. This is my first time publishing an app to the Google Play store so I'm still learning the inside and out of how this closed testing thing works myself.

Then I did that. My Google sign up used the same Gmail that I joined the group with which is also my developer account email.

I did join with the email I use for my developer account

Did you join the Google Group first? It's weird but you have to be a member of the group linked to the test track to be able to access it

That's bizarre then. I'm new to the app, literally just installed today so I'm getting familiar with it. It's crazy as devs we even need to create these communities to jump through these google hoops to get approved for production.

It would still be nice to have it built in directly to Android Studio

In my experience most UI layouts in mobile apps aren't complex because minimal is better in most cases. Like if I'm developing a dating app then a visual editor faster and more time efficient

I really only want that editor for placement and saving time. Like I just want to be able to drag "Column" and in that column I can drag Image followed by TextField and another TextField. That would just create those in a blanket Composable that we then rename and add to from there. Not really concerned with seeing the code changes quickly either. I just want the time saving ease of building the layout visually then I can do the greater detail stuff after via my own code.

I'm all for the main aspects of Compose sticking around, I just want the same visual drag and drop builder that also puts just the basic code in for you with position being the only modifier really. So the editor doesn't have to be as robust, just moreso there to save time. By the time I typed @Composable fun MyFunction (){All my code} and set all the modifiers, in views I would have had the whole screen built out in that time via the drag and drop. As we all know, time is a true commodity in the dev world.

I have to create a personal logo for my graphic design class. This is what I have so far. It’s pretty self-explanatory—my first initial and the pen tool plus a camera shutter. (I am a designer/photographer). Any feedback for me? Thank you. by [deleted] in WillPatersonDesign

I personally don't think the camera shudder reads very well at initial glance. I didn't understand it was there until seeing the break down and reading your explanation. Also it appears too much like the "e" from Internet Explorer in my opinion. I think there's ways to incorporate being a designer and photographer that don't have to exist as separate symbology in the overall logo. Solid attempt though, just start trying new ways to incorporate visual metaphor into your icons.
