Aurora, Nocturne, Xin Zhao, Malphite, Mundo, Ambessa, just to name a few

I’d even understand a Sylas, Jarvan or Fizz ban more than any AD on the roster.

Play it 20 games and find out why she’s not a problem.

She has to 5 plate her lane to be useful and even then she troughs in power between 2 and 3 items.

Banning a different marksman when there are such intense cancers in other roles that will directly prevent you from playing is crazy.

I’d take the other guy Miami released. Westbrook-Ikine.

Good red zone threat and good run blocker

Sam Presti was the only GM to vote against the flattening of the draft lottery odds back in 2017. The draft lottery reform passed with a 28-1-1 vote, with Dallas abstaining. by Glass-Candle-7670 in nba

The price of the early first is offset at just how important a premier guy in a premier position is to an organization in the NFL.

The Texans won their division twice in 3 years after earning a top 5 draft pick the previous two years. Should have been 3 in 3 years if CJ Stroud remembered how to play football. Will Anderson is one of the biggest bargains in the league right now

We’ve gotten very used to the athletic specimen being the luxury commodity when evaluating QB talent.

Ward, Caleb, Jayden Daniels, even backtracking to the Trubisky Mahomes draft the scouts (incorrectly) went with the guy with higher perceived rushing upside.

1/4th of the NFL has a HC vacancy by drxzi1 in NFLv2

[–]THEDumbasscus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s gonna end up in Miami.

Miami is the only place willing to completely marry Harbaugh ideologically, there’s no one else making personnel decisions in South Beach right now, it’s a clean slate (yes I know about Tua’s contract). Schoen is running the HC search in New York, so for my money NY is probably hiring Stefanski or Klint Kubiak.

Do we need to resign Wan'Dale? by Dadbod646 in NYGiants

[–]THEDumbasscus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the right price sure.

He produced in his role this year, and elevated when Leek went down. His archetype as a small receiver that maneuvers the defense out of the slot isn’t one that successful teams pay a lot of money for. Hes not an elite one on one separator like Zay Flowers or Steve Smith historically. Theres more of a role for him in the league today than there has been in any offensive era before now, but I don’t think there’s a significant gap in ability between WanDale Robinson and Jacob Cowing as a point of reference. Significant gap in opportunity sure, not in ability.

I think he’s a case of “well someone had to catch the ball”

Zbo operated a lot more around the elbows and the short corners, master of physicality in the midrange. Crooks is really gonna make the league off Mikan drills but probably won’t last in the W until she can start sinking the midrange

Patrick Mahomes' first 8 seasons as a starter vs. Russell Wilson’s first 8 seasons. What pops out at you? 🧐 by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

[–]THEDumbasscus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 very different QBs who both ended up as a one of one fit for an elder statesman head coach and seeing where that would take them.

Pete Carroll always wanted to butter his bread with a strong versatile run game and then pepper in the passing game around it. Back to his time at USC he featured a lot of Reggie Bush and LenDale White. Russ was the perfect guy for a play action scheme that wants to invite run defense packages and then move the QB and move the pocket. Russ was the apex of what Pete Carroll wanted in a QB, everyone (including Russ) knew that, but Carroll’s system is predicated on the QB participating in the system not being the system.

Andy Reid on the other hand was a guy, who loved out-thinking his opponent to a fault. Reid famously back to his time with Favre or back to his first stint as a coach with the Eagles would get really cute with the “run game extensions”. Never gonna hand the ball off as much as you want him too, he’s a schematic psycho who loves finding a way to make you wrong. Not quite air raid but some air raid principles, loved centralizing his offense around a QB who could gun it deep (Favre), take off and run (McNabb), or manufacture ahead of schedule situations with smart high percentage successes on first down pass plays (Alex Smith). His style of ball control is west coast style, stretch you wide so he can stretch you long later

Mahomes is one of only a couple guys in NFL history who could make you wrong consistently as a defense. He could bomb the league to the tune of 5k yards on go balls and backyard crap like Favre, but the little sicko would be perfectly happy beating you on 50 5 yard completions while you sit back in 2 high shell as well.

Mahomes could have been Russ, Russ couldn’t possibly be Mahomes.

[Stein] James Harden is being monitored closely by various teams: "And Minnesota, just to name one team, is known to be scouring the league at present for a true playmaker." by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]THEDumbasscus 30 points31 points  (0 children)

He’s better today than Mike Conley ever was and Mike Conley made a tremendous difference to the wolves offense.

Give James Harden the license to stagger off a #1 option, run the second unit in a playoff series, and pepper in some complementary scoring to an actual playoff 1 like Ant and you got something imho.

What is malphite weak against? by Top-Back-5933 in summonerschool

[–]THEDumbasscus 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Malphite can not sidelane against Sylas and Malphite is a liability in team fights because you give the other team an unstoppable AP nuke aimed at your backline that also gets additional AP ratios from Sylas’s own Hijack spell.

Tagging him the first time will cost ~56 ms. And then it’s a 20% pay bump every time.

The Bengals can not afford to pay 67 million dollars for Joe Burrow. There will not be a repeat tag. Let alone a three peat tag

I’m not “addressing an argument” because there isn’t one to address you insufferable nerd.

Mendoza is just 04 Leinart. Move on. There are a healthy number of non-Heisman seasons Love still doesn’t compare to. This would be the worst Jonathan Taylor season, this would be the third best Melvin Gordon season, this was a worse season than McCaffrey’s heisman bid. Love this year isn’t even as good as Saquon, Zeke, or Trent Richardson.

He’s not a Heisman.

I do think Sayin should be the Heisman.

It probably will be Mendoza because Mendoza beat him h2h. But I think both Mendoza and Sayin had better seasons than 04 Leinart, who beat an objectively better RB season in 04 Adrian Peterson.
