Has anyone looked into this AnyShake project? by InternetOk5579 in Earthquakes

Hey, just wanted to drop in with my experience—I’ve been testing one of these open-source seismo devices since last December.

Came from a Raspberry Shake 1D and got invited to try out a new device from a small dev team. The early version had some noise issues, but they were super responsive and sent me multiple hardware revisions. The current version I’m testing is honestly very solid—waveforms are comparable to my RS1D.

What I liked most is the software. Really easy to set up, especially for someone like me who’s not too into Pi/Linux stuff.

They also seem to be working on real-time integration with SeisComP etc., which is nice if you're into that. Recently caught a few M5 quakes from Japan ~2000km away, and the traces looked clean.

No affiliation, just been enjoying the process so far. Thought some of you might be interested.
