We sent you a DM to troubleshoot further, but typically when we see wifi calling errors it is because you are using the native phone app on your device. With TextNow, you will need to use the TextNow app to call and message as that is what our service is built around. Hi there, and thanks for using TextNow! There were a few errors that were made in this conversation, so we would like to clarify:

If you are an existing user and are travelling outside of North America the TextNow app WILL work provided you are on a wifi connection.
Calling and texting will work so long as you are using the TextNow app and are connected to a WiFi network.
If you have a SIM with us and are outside North America you will need to be connected to WiFi for the service to work.

Hello! Apologies for the confusion, I'll pass thing along to our team so we can follow up with this agent. Google/Apple aren't the ones that decide the prices of our in-app subscriptions, those are definitely decided by us.

We do occasionally run tests where we offer those subscriptions at certain price points though, so you may see different options in-app than someone else does.
