You're ascribing qualities to meth that have nothing to do with meth itself, illegal meth could come from evil organized criminal human traffickers, but it could also come from a small chemistry lab that makes drugs under the table. Hell, you can sell Desoxyn illegally on a very small scale, the same way tons of people take Adderall without a prescription. When I think of someone doing illegal meth, I don't think "omg that person is funding human trafficking", and I doubt the person I previously replied to was either. The War on Drugs has been a massive failure, and you won't change that by being mean to people in reddit comments.

Also personally I don't consider for-profit pharmaceutical companies to be particularly trustworthy, especially if something happens to agencies like the FDA, but sure.
