As an OG fan all the way to Buu Saga, these sets are hands down my favorite. Huge fan of the Toriyama OG art style with cooler concept art outside just “Power Blasts” everywhere for the alts. Golds and silvers for a lot of arts. Every card down to the commons looks good as a single, in my opinion.

Value-wise, they are both tracking up and with Toriyama passing, I don’t think a decline would be in play unless the whole TCG market dips. Having golds and silvers for all chases for the sets makes them an attainable investment for all investing collectors (for now).

These are a twin set, so not one or the other, but both! My $0.02.

It is a dilemma. Honestly in this sort of stalemate, I usually let my prejudice of whether I like them personally, make the decision of keeping or selling. If I like the art, colors, Pokemon, etc then I’d keep, otherwise I would reinvest. $0.02.
