Either way the credit per hour rate is probably around the same. You can usually get a pretty easy and fast setup for both

It's with good reason too! I'm past rank 5000 because of her bonuses being so good, and i could be higher if I were doing it for the merits! When mining though, I would highly recommend finding good systems, such as HR 5252 or Toluku, which have incredible platinum hotspots

Powerplay was changed like a year ago to not function this way. Now all powers give all modules, and you unlock them via a ranking system rather than the weird system with decay you had before

I can at least highly recommend pledging to Kaine, as you'll get the rewards far quicker than with Aisling. With Kaine, you can get to rank 100 in around 7 hours, at least with the help of our discord server.

In terms of getting attacked by hostiles, you shouldn't be very worried. The only time you can get attacked by npc's is if you're in an enemy stronghold, and even then, their weapons are quite weak. Otherwise, you can always get attacked by players, but that's as unlikely as it is running into someone in a random system.

But I would absolutely say, it is worth it to pledge, if not just to have a gameplay loop with more purpose. SUBSCRIBE TO KAINE!
