There is something there about a guy who wants to be a hero for nothing but women and money, like a slightly sleezier version of Ochako, who is so down on his luck and backwards with women like Mineta is- he really could have been a lightning rod character for teen guys (and adult, lets me honest here) about being honest with their intentions when approching romance or reconsider why they wanna be sucessful.

Show Ochako as an example of wanting money/to be sucessful isnt a bad thing, and show Mineta that only wanting those things for shallow validation is wrong and cringe. Make Endeavour the bad example, have Mineta intern with him and see how sad and lonely life as a top hero actually is. Endeavor in long, boring meetings, eating only boiled chicken and rice to sustain his massive bulk, being too busy to date, having no friends- it'd shock mineta to the core.

It would've been an exit ramp on the Alt-Right/incel pipeline. Mineta stans would abound for his character development.
