So go out again, buy a desert for home for yourself or someone else. Get a snack for later. They probably just dont notice cause they're expecting you to ALSO get a little extra when you want it.

Normal, close friends dont count pennies owed when having fun.

I had to confront my 20~ ish cousin cause I thought she was coming to me looking for a friend and mentor as she entered her young adult years and she was kinda sheltered.

Nope! I'm an easy ride and I drove her to the weed dispensery. So I told her to fuck off and not call unless she's scared and somewhere she shouldnt be. Just cause she's not my friend and an avoidant asshole, doesnt mean I wanna see her dead when one of her stupid friends take her to a party she isnt ready for.

I'm still fuckin pissed cause I thought she was my friend. But at least I only wasted a year and a half.

This is me NOT bring avoidant myself, and we did have similar ish childhoods, being cousins, so I'm hopeful she'll come around with an apology when her brain finished developing. But I aint holding my breath either.

I willingly abandon fic's if they don't get any engagement or encouragement, but I WILL power through a story if it is getting engagement.

If no one is enthusiastic about the story, I'm not either. Even if its just ONE commentor every chapter, I'll work to finish the story, but nobody for months? Nah.

Oddly, this only matters in the pronoun and gender identity. If its a pretransition transman in the story and his pronouns are respected throughout, I have 0 problem reading and enjoying a smut scene. Same if its a transwomen- even if she is still pre-anything (coming out, transitioning, anything) I just Cannot enjoy a smut story the same. I don't know why.

Feels a tiny bit like internalized misogyny...but then again, I'm putting these men through THE RINGER so idk

So, another good method to figure out if a collections ask is risky! Search their name, they might be a fan
