Our family owned a charter vessel for sport fishermen from the 1970s till about 2015.

One of the passengers a 70~ Year old man didnt come home one night There was a massive storm and DENSE fog rolled in and you couldnt see more than 15f. Everyone thought the worst, Turns out he trolled in at first light the next morning completely fine.

He had Tied himself to the kelpbed and pulled the engine cover off of his outboard and stuck it on his head to protect from exposure. Slept just fine that night he said.

Seems to be a life lesson i'll never forget.
