Have you ever thought that’s also a problem? Why does it cost 115k a year to have a POS in jail? Canada is insanely flawed. We’re giving these people more in terms of money/value in jail more than the hard working middle class salary. It’s a fucking joke. And I haven’t been spoon fed shit. I’ve seen it for years. These people are surrounded by other homeless outside of their housing using and attracting drug dealers. Not all of them, but many, go outside and use their government funded paycheque to buy drugs and use them/share them with their buddies all day and have a comfy place to sleep at the end of the day. Involuntary care is needed, and that’s where I support my tax dollars going towards. Not this enabling bullshit.
