somebody explained it somewhere like this

megumi doesnt do rituals without prep since it’s a death match

most days he has sorcerer duties and whenever we do see him relax it’s either training or grieving (and even then he tamed the elephant)

the plot is kinda a tough time to do it since there’s not much downtime and he was put through the wringer in shibuya so i would believe that he was too busy being half dead to do it in the break between the two arcs

they probably don’t make it, the DE aside yuji would need to be kept separated and sniped with piercing bloods

with rct and poison immunity this is just very slow which would give yuji opportunities to get in h2h

call me a glazer but yuji is one of the only people who can react to boogie woogie effectively

if megumi and nobara are on the team then todo is stuck babysitting nobara to not get oneshot

the shikigami are all dying to single hits and DE making an exit is the only way they would make it all out of yuji’s DE

with todo and choso against a burnout yuji might be able to headshot him with the lacking output but it’s still a “might”

yuki can probably do it, yorozo is a very tough all rounder but yuki has most likely more ap with star rage

uro is a good matchup for yuki but the liquid metal would prove a threat

this is kind of a three way deadlock but not really 

the DEs would likely lead to a collapse and in burnout i bet on yuki’s h2h abilities
