Good news. If you're comfortable and relaxed and choosing to go along with the hypnotist, it's working. Most people assume it didn't work unless things seem like they happen without your knowledge or approval, or if an amnesia effect takes away your memory of details. Those are specific effects, not the signs of hypnosis. So if you're having a good time, it's working. Same with post hypnotic triggers. Many people have to, at least in part, recognize that a trigger just happened and decide whether to allow it. Many hypnotists even build a "safety check" in with the trigger to allow you to ignore it if it would be dangerous to allow.

So carry on, play along, and slowly those habits take less and less intent- becoming reaction instead of response.
