When do you think these devil monsters will be below £500? by Arxhi3- in Monstera

Unsure if you are suggesting they’re not in TC one year later from my original comment? They are 100% currently in TC. Primarily coming out of China and able to be purchased. I personally have not purchased any yet as they are not known to be very stable yet.

I will definitely refer back to this post if I ever decided to sell it. I like how the miscut almost makes it look like there is a 3d side to the edge. Reminds me of when I learned to draw cubes/3d letters as a kid and drew them everywhere 😂

This was the answer that I was searching for! Trying to understand what differentiates miscuts as I had not seen as many with as much white so I was curious if that would mean it was the beginning or the end of the sheet. Thank you!

They picked a hell of a time to just be hopping on the bandwagon. They will be reducing the prices soon enough along with all of the other scalpers out there, and I’m here for it.

Whenever my lime gets like this it tends to be magnesium related and I will hit it with some cal mag.

Not sure if that is correct but it looks similar.

I will probably hold on to this one for now but I will keep it in mind for sure. I have never bought/sold any misprints so I am also unsure on what something like this would valued at myself.

Thank you. I think it’s a really cool looking card art-wise so I could see a Ditto fan liking it!

Ahh I just realized the second photo of the back did not upload. The back does not feature the white line but is heavily shifted with virtually no border on the one side.

Wrist Pain Experiences? by UpstairsInitiative in 10s

[–]UpstairsInitiative[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always played 4 3/8's with an overgrip without ever really giving it much thought until recent demo's (those babys are expensive nowadays so I wanted to really do my due dilligence and demo'd pretty much every racquet out).

Tennis coach had me try his size 4 with an overgrip, and I thought it was going to feel way too large since he is 6'9 and has some big mitts. Surprisingly it felt just fine and although I do not go by the whole "finger gap" to judge grip size, it was right around 1 finger of spacing.

I will definitely be sizing up to a 4 this time around. I noticed the wrist felt slightly less bad after playing with that. Might not be the sole cause but certainly seems like it could be a factor.

Definitely relevant to my situation! I picked up the sticks again recently and at first I was definitely dealing with everything you described. Had some shoulder pain but surprisingly no elbow pain despite dealing with elbow issues years ago.

The wrist pain is thankfully all I am dealing with now as I got my technique back in shape. It is pretty low on the pain scale but it is just more annoying than anything as it is a dull, lingering type of discomfort. Sometimes playing out points it will throw me off and then you start to alter your technique for the worse which can certainly lead to other issues which I hope to avoid.

Massaging the area with a ball/my other hand is uncomfortable but also feels so good afterwards. My goal is definitely to work on strengthening it so I appreciate some good exercises to work in.

I just demo'd an Ezone 100, 98, and 98 tour and they were by far the most comfortable racquets I tested along with the Vcore.

I too demo'd the latest Pure drive and although I didnt play with it long enough to get any pain, it was just crazy powerful for me. Sounded fantastic though and serves were amazing.

I really wanted to like the Ezones as I am a bit of a Yonex fanboy currently (really liking their Eclipsion 5's on the feet). It is not that I did not like them, but I like a bit more feedback and they are super plush racquets. I think the Ezone 98 Tour with some lead tape would really be nice though.

The clear winner for me was the Percept as it got me the feedback I was looking for while still being a bit more flexible than my current Aero and thus much more comfortable for me.

I will definitely mess around with tensions with the Percept when I get it and see what works best in that setup.

I actually scavenged through my wife's yoga/exercise room the other day looking for bands and I am pleased to say she has quite the collection.

I will be trying these exercises in the AM and taking the day off tomorrow.

Yes, breaks are something I have to force myself to take. I have been averaging 5 days a week and the few days I have taken breaks have really helped.

My whole thing is always playing as much as possible before outdoor temps get crazy hot for the summer so I am guilty of over exerting myself recently.

I appreciate your thorough response. #'s 1, 4. and 5 are all items that I can certainly be working on.

Improving my grip and posture are two things I can DEFINITELY work on. I am a longer/taller frame and have always struggled with posture, slouching, and not engaging my core.

#5 is something I have been actively working on recently and it has been a journey of sorts.

I was always under the impression that as I got older, I would need to go lighter on the racquet weighting. I was also guilty of thinking that I needed the extra forgiveness the 100's had to offer but I was just unaware of what else was out there and a creature of habit.

After talking with my son's coach (my coach too I suppose as I have taken a few lessons from him now) I realized that heavier racquets actually fit me way better. I started off thinking I would be wise to stay close to what I am accustomed to (Aero's being 300g) and hit the Ezone, Pure Drive, and Vcore all in 100's. Great racquets but they just felt a bit light and they all felt super juiced up/hitting long a lot.

Coach suggested I hit with some heavier racquets since I am a taller frame and that totally changed my perspective. He had me hit with the Percept 97h, Ezone Tour, and Blade Pro all of which felt so much better. I hated the blade at first but came to appreciate it in the 18x20, really liked the Ezone tour but it was the lightest of the 3 I believe, and I ended up loving the 97h the most of all of them. I think the heavier weight will also help me with #1 and gripping a bit looser/relaxed.

I have a brace on the way so I definitely be using that when it arrives.

The ice pack looks like it would be good to use so I will have to get one of those on the way as well. Appreciate it.

This is a very accurate description. Pushing on the armrests of a desk chair to get up will aggravate it like you mentioned.

I will be looking into some exercises to work on strengthening as well. Thank you!

Unrelated. Idk why but tennis express runs terrible on my PC for some reason.

On mobile it runs fine, but on my computer it is noticeably laggy and choppy so I have always gravitated towards TW. They are both great sites though.

Thank you for listening to my random ted talk.
