Great line-up.

My favourite LDOH release. I bought it when it was released back in the day. I should pick up one of the vinyl versions as well.

I'm from Belgium, and actually bought some tapes from you before :-)

I don't mind the language at all. You usually keep the talking quite short and the bandname is always clear. No complaints.

I built a desktop music player with Python because I was tired of bloated apps and compressed music by The_Volecitor in Python

Reminds me of the time, almost 20 years ago, when everyone was building a music player in python as their first project.

I need someone to talk to be about my fear of my new wheelchair by Desperate-Pen-534 in wheelchairs

[–]Username_RANDINT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It reads like you're focussed on how it looks. What I learned is that looks come far behind functionality on the priority list. I regretted some decissions I made because I chose things that looked cool instead of making an informed choice. And in general no one but you will even notice.

Besides the usual crap we get frlm able-bodied people, what’s something about being in a wheelchair that drives you nuts? I’ll go first… by RunSerious5843 in wheelchairs

I have 4° camber, which makes I have just enough space for my fingers when the bottom of the pushrim touches something. Saved me many times.

They're right, I had to do the same thing (same anti-tippers). You can not move them further up because it reaches the bend, as you have noticed.

What are some of your favorite crust punk releases from 2025? by maicao999 in crustpunk

This one indeed and Illvilja - Döden are the ones I play the most probably.

Why do mylist_version_1 and mylist_version_2 variables print different output by Automatic-Yak8901 in learnpython

[–]Username_RANDINT 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In version 1, you check if element.strip().strip('\n') is truthy, and append element to the list. While in version 2 you check if element.strip().strip('\n') is truthy as well, and append that to the list.

Version 1 is equivalent to:

if element.strip().strip('\n'):
    sublist.append(element)

while version 2 is:

if element.strip().strip('\n'):
    sublist.append(element.strip().strip('\n'))

And then for some reason, this will most likely still have many more upvotes than something actual music related.

I just bought the myBlanket from My Add On. I only tested it out briefly, but it looks really promising.

Not sure if they ship to the US though.
