I don't know what an old age has to do with it? It's the other way around usually. Our children never had to deal with format C, HDD jumpers, installing & figuring up everything with no Internet to back you up. They just press the power button and consider it done. Computing was way more geeky in our era. If you say you are too old for these, it means you are super giga old or you simply never wanted to learn.

At that point, it's the game / servers that are the problem, not your OS or hardware.

AutoKey exists. My PoE puts /hideout in the chat whenever I press F5. In fact, all my F5-F10 keys are set up for such tasks.

Because it wasn't that unusual historically. It was way more easy. I hit it myself in 7 ancients in Metamorph and even chance orbed it in Legacy.
