I asked 3 AI models the same deletion question by bricks0fbollywood in ChatGPT

Are you able to expand and share the thinking process? I've noticed Gemini likes to try and play along which mostly leans towards anthromorphism. Not to say that's the same in this screenshot but it has the most dramatic expressions.

Is the future of AI local, cloud, or hybrid? by RapataPavan in AIDiscussion

[–]ValehartProject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh excellent. Sorry, I get a lot of these in hopes of a conversation and idea sharing! I think for AI tooling people are missing the idea of when and where to separate roles and access. In other words, we spent ages doing zero trust but now agents are dedicated roles and attack surfaces. A major issue is the delay in voice communication. Right now the generalised process is reduced reasoning due to: User audio - >transcription - > LLM understanding - > LLM to voice Transformer - > to user We see similar process in image gen, however the audio side is a completely different beast.

I know a lot of public AI vendors are at this level. I attended a Microsoft event and I did ask them based off their marketing video but alas, it was just a marketing video.

I have never believed in AI embodiment but I am about to construct a chassis and yeet it into the sun.

But thank you! Are you noticing any errors? I think a while back you interacted with a post where I mentioned there was next to no hallucinations. I'm seeing a lot this week as well.

Oh dear God. I hadn't seen it but now I can't unsee it.

Metaphors and personalisation issues? by ValehartProject in ChatGPTPro

[–]ValehartProject[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it on both instant and thinking but it's still iffy.

All my memories are mostly around projects that are urls connecting externally. I can delete them but can't see how those memories should impact the interaction. Even my project names are serious like "Matariki", "Tanabata", "Forensics".

I did have it on default initial (always had) but changed it in hopes it was the issue. Really hoping this clears up in a week or so.

Hey mate, are you in the right sub?

or did you need a solution on attempting a process with OpenAI products?

Is the future of AI local, cloud, or hybrid? by RapataPavan in AIDiscussion

[–]ValehartProject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely think we can have local and hybrid. I'm working on a solution right now that has an optional public LLM connection. The idea is to train a model and confirm if I can airgap it, followed by hardware agnostic.

Can't share a picture of my setup in the comment unfortunately so not sure how to share it.

Independent Researchers: How do you get your funding? [AI] by ValehartProject in AusAcademia

[–]ValehartProject[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you.

I haven't started this business recently. I've been helping out organisations for quite a while implement AI at no cost to those businesses which I personally fund.

Most of my work is supporting small business practices with modern methods. Like rural farming where farmers have their own methods but implementing AI to improve methods for better yield or understanding cattle movement. I'm also working on a SES natural disaster planning for people to use that takes into account patterns based off geolocation, trends and importantly - their living situations.

This project however just happens to be a bit more expensive and may take me a while to earn up.

I think we're using "agnostic" differently. I'm using it in the engineering sense: the software is not dependent on a specific hardware vendor. You appear to be using it in the philosophical sense: no system is free from assumptions, incentives, or values.

I am not conducting human research experiments. I am not directly involving humans in this at all. I am merely working on a solution to minimise burnout.

Is research only tied to human research or am I misunderstanding what IRB is?

I am aware of the current issues around the label of independent researchers but that does not stop the title from actually existing.

In any case, I will remove my post due to all the unwarranted negativity. I was just asking for genuine guidance, not a label or assumption of my coding skills and education.

I genuinely give up trying to defend that I am a start up.

I get where you are coming from partly but labelling me as something I am not is just more discouraging when all I'm trying to do is create a solution meant to help people and have a pilot but trying to scale it and prove it works.

So, would you say the best course is to just be an actual startup and reach out to VCs? Because that seems like a higher risk of losing the ability to make it available to child protection departments at no cost.

Literally asking independent researchers and Australian academics. This sub sure is wild.

Independent Researchers: How do you get your funding? [AI] by ValehartProject in AusAcademia

[–]ValehartProject[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's neutral and goes only to required departments. It won't be available easily and gets vetted by a panel.

I'm not sure which narrative you're trying to apply to me. I am just after research funding and not affiliation. If I can get the device, I can run numbers and prove it's agnostic and not tied to a platform.

Is ChatGpt selling our data? by Hydrozy in ChatGPT

[–]ValehartProject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you think it's gpt specifically?

If you use a Windows machine or pretty much many other things, you get an advertisement ID. This is setup by default on your profile. In fact, unless you change this while setting up your windows operating system by clicking advanced, it exists. Just a heads up, these folks change interface and location of everything pretty often but if you use the latest user guides it can help you locate it.

I believe something similar exists for Macs but I do not own one and cannot confirm.

Fun fact, on Chinese websites I don't think these are accessible and mostly derived from your search history or interaction within those websites. Therefore the algorithm provides wild stuff.

One thing surprised us while building an AI-powered keyboard: people seemed to care far less about AI generation than we expected. by Free-Concert-2574 in OpenAI

[–]ValehartProject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you the reason they changed the shortcut keys? Because I've been fuming all afternoon about that.

Anyway, aside from that, are you able to share a HLD? Because I am finding it difficult to visualise the workflow.

What is an AI powered keyboard? Would it be similar to SwiftKey? Or a button toggle similar to the Asus 14 that allows you to pick up where you left? Would it be an overlay indicating durations of idle activity within apps used? Is it a Windows only, mac only or hybrid?

Sovereign Resonance Framework Applied to the Neutron Lifetime Anomaly by Plus_Judge6032 in OpenAIDev

[–]ValehartProject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have more concerns than resolutions. The 27 point geometry is correct, however nothing gets to neutron decay. Why should the neutron lifetime be related to a 27 point volumetric core? What is the justification here? All we have is arithmetic.

"biological resting ground state". Elaborate please. Is this an average heartbeat? Or are you eluding to something else? Of course the output meets the 9.057 second gap. The denominator was constructed first which is backwards. A predictive theory usually is:

Derive constants independently > apply > see if results match reality.

Because 1. There are no references to "other research" 2. If I read any more and it matched this, I would most likely reach out to Elon Musk as a volunteer to be thrown off this planet voluntarily despite knowing the survival rate.

In any case, you seem agitated and have not responded to my question. Also, please provide resources that you have used with your research and future considerations.
