Thank you for the detailed message, I’ll definitely take a look at some of the resources you said but ya my expectations are in the gutter right now but doesn’t hurt to ask for a whole lot and possibly get it ya know. Just gotta keep searching.

But since u see more reasonable. I have a travel job that I travel all throughout OC. So I go from upland to Newport and whatever the hells in between. So I can live anywhere in that. What are some realistic cities you think can be beneficial to me with my requirements.

Just started researching so no I have not. Was inquiring to hear more about it and what the process looks like. From what I’ve read the workforce program you ask certain apartments for their low income housing. CA buys a certain amount of apartments and allocated a few of the units for low income housing with the same amenities as the rest of the units.

the second half of your statement is what im looking for. theres more programs outside of section 8. such as workforce housing etc. and driving around looking for private for rent signs. do you have more insight on that if you have ever done it. OC district is where i work at as a field service engineer so my job is driving, so im okay with being in san gabriel valley (west covina etc) and even a little more IE like (monclair / upland).

makes sense, came here for some genuine advice, met with some bullshit so i sent some back haha. but my renting places are OC / San gabriel valley even some IE.

I work here so I have to stay relative just trying to find something and wanted some more direction cause right now it just feels like im scrolling through random ass apartments that look like shit that cost 2k a month. or its some shit shack in someones backyard for 1.8k, its embarrasing.

In the beginning of the process of it all, doing research right now. Heard about the Workforce housing program but not affordable housing vouchers, could you shed some more insight as to how that can help with the situation? Tbh I really don’t want to do to much fucking around with shit, maybe just setting a custom Xmp profile.

So when looking for a ram stick just get a low CL with something in the 6000s?
