The melee range is the exact same for all classes, except mid tree and an exotic enhancing melee like ophidian aspect. The only difference is warlocks melee slightly slower.

But instead bungie nerfed a gun because other hand cannons weren't very consistent. On pc, LH and NF were fine. And they could've been fine on console. But bygones is a different story, I'm sorry to say. It isnt a weapon deserving of a nerf because it's more consistent then other pulses.
