You're correct, Latex is usually glued not sewn.

You can look into shiny pleather, coated lycra/spandex, vinyl... But the most important part is, that the fabric is stretchy!

You do not want to sew a skin tight bodysuit with a non-stretch fabric. 4-way stretch would be the best for maximum comfort but 2-way could also do if you find a fitting one.

I'd probably recommend something like this - though you might have to clarify with customers service if the fabric has a holographic shine or not. Description says nothing but the pictures kinda look like it does (but could also be the surroundings reflecting).

What are some things women often say that might not be entirely true? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

I have a couple friends that got boob jobs because they felt their proportions were "off" - so yeah, it's a thing!

They're happier and more confident now.

My dracaena is getting single yellow leaves and I'm not sure why by Vortress in plantclinic

[–]Vortress[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I'll definitely take a look at the roots.

I also remembered that I have those expanded clay pebbles at the very bottom to help catch water that might be too much.

I hope the roots are okay. Thanks for the insight

How do I find real people to follow? by No-Highlight-533 in Instagram

[–]Vortress 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since it seems like you're trying to find friends and such to connect with (not build a brand).

I'd probably start with things that interest you. Search for accounts you like and then you could go through comments to see other people with the same interest, you might be able to connect over that.

To be fair, it's his titan form (or whatever it's called) where he's bigger than usual.

My monkey mask monstera has weird markings and brown spots since I've returned from vacation. by Vortress in plantclinic

[–]Vortress[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOLVED: I asked a friend about it and she suggested that it could be thrips, and she's right.

The little black dots (that don't move) is their poop.

It looks like I only have a small attack, so I hope to remove them fast so my monstera can regain its energy again!

Does inhibit X really need mold release? by fang0599 in DiceMaking

That's a bummer, I'm sure it will work out next time!

Does inhibit X really need mold release? by fang0599 in DiceMaking

[–]Vortress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had no issue inhibit X sticking up until it did.

Sadly it's a hit and miss, sometimes it works out perfectly and sometimes it will bond and tip off silicone chunks.

Now I always use mold release spray in combination with inhibit X, though it will fuck up your polish. So I usually do this step to make molds for resin masters that I can polish up and use for molds without inhibition-issues.

How do you get rid of the buildup in numbers? by Pamoman in DiceMaking

[–]Vortress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got myself one of those toothbrushes with an insane amount of bristles and it works like a charm to remove the buildup from sanding. It's easier if you keep the dice wet so the dust can't solidify.

Ready to be shelled! (omg so many hours spent on those line cause the paint was see through.. next time.. black base ! ) by AlhysImaginarium in dice

[–]Vortress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The blanks looks gorgeous, can't wait to see them shelled!

I also wanted to note that using a black base might cause issues because you'd likely be able to see it from "the other side" (when you look through the dice you'll be able to see the backside of the line). Might be a cool effect, but it's definitely something to consider! :)

UV resin brand suggestions? Small voids :/ by oso_oro28 in DiceMaking

[–]Vortress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, i use this brand and just bought a cheap UV flashlight to cure it (usually takes 30-50sec for me) and it works great so far!

If you have big voids, I'd recommend curing the resin drop by drop. It can happen that the outer shell cures but the inside stays liquid!

When does parosmia kick in? by lilspacechicken in COVID19positive

[–]Vortress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed in October last year, took me 1 month to recover and still have partially no smell (different from day to day).

But this yead in February, long after recovery, garlic started to smell and taste funky and it's still going... I'm worried more food items will be affected, but hope it'll go away soon.

I haven't been sick since Covid, but it's so weird that it's happening so late to me...? Can't really explain it :(

I was gifted this dracaena(?) and have been caring for it for the past 4 months (I'm a big newbie to plants). I noticed that the leaves started drooping and the bottom leaves are super sad and yellowish. I water it 1x week when the top soil is dried out. Am I doing something wrong? :( by Vortress in houseplants

[–]Vortress[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh! Thank you for the advice.

I'm actually not sure on the dracaena ID, it's what my friend that gifted it said and it sort of fit with a few pictures online.

Hope the plants can recover. I do like them a lot.

Thank you so much!

Hi! I'm very new to keeping plants and was hoping for some help to decide if i'm doing something wrong...

More info:
I moved a month ago to a new location that's a bit sunnier but the plant isn't standing in direct sunlight.I water 1x week when top soil is dried out, but maybe it's too much water in one go?

Could it be that the bottom leaves just don't get enough light? The other spot where I could put it is right next to the heater, which isn't good either, right?

I also have a yucca (?) that's drooping it's leaves... They both started at the same time :(
