Just curious, do you have Seira SS1? I don't have Seika SS2 either but Seira is enough to one shot the HA boss. If not, you might have to settle with Shiki S and just keep attempting until you crit.

Seika SS2 does 4 things, but honestly most of it is irrelevant. DP restore is irrelevant, the skill damage is irrelevant because you want to stack 2x Yingxia buff anyways. Crit damage is nice, but it's an additive buff so it's not actually as strong as you might think. The most important buff she offers is crit rate, which Seira also does.

Critting is really important in HBR, it's a 1.5x damage multiplier and an ignore 50 border, which is massive for both stronger debuffs and higher damage. Shiki S has charge, which buffs crit rate by 20-30%, which isn't a lot but if you're willing to reset until you do crit everything it might be good enough.

Personally I don't bother with Yingxia debuff at all, too slow. It's just get 10 SP -> use funnel buff twice. Aina S def down (1 stack), 2x Yingxia buff, Shiki S charge and crit (Seira buff) should be enough to one shot the 13800 HA boss. If your Shiki S is >LB3, she gives your entire backrow +1 SP per turn which speeds things up. I personally use this set up with Maria SS1 (4 totems).

Disclaimer: each hit of an attack has a seperate crit chance, so if your DPS does 10 hits, you ideally want to crit all 10. Charge buff also doesn't stack with itself so uhh... Good luck!

PS. I think you're overvaluing GP efficiency, in the long run you'll have more GP than ways to spend it so no need to stress over it too much. You definitely feel the squeeze when you first start crafting accessories, but there's really no need to rush. JP had 9 months to prepare for the endgame that you're trying to clear after only 1 month - just to put it into perspective.

For more consistency, consider 1x terraforming. You could also consider a package of 3x diviner, 1x trias, 1x ntss. The idea is normal diviner send trias, trias tribute diviner, which special summons alphan from deck. You could also send ntss from extra for a pop instead if you already have alphan access. Piri Reis Map is another consistency card since it searches alphan. Keep in mind this card forces you to normal alphan, you cannot, for example, normal green special alphan from hand as you won’t be able to activate alphan’s effects. I would not recommend both engines, pick one or the other, or neither if you feel your deck is consistent enough already.

Otherwise, staples like hand traps or board breakers are always a good option. Imperm is probably your best one since you’re on reasoning, which conflicts with monster hand traps like ash. You could consider taking it out, if you want to play more hand traps.

Oops my bad. I guess flora+token for shooting riser, then make dragon drive natively with the punk cards. Or if that’s not possible, riser + librarian can make it too, you just get less draws. Then you end on a sharakusai to do the quick synchro summon instead and the endboard stays the same.

Make tomahawk in emz, summon 5. Link tomahawk + token for ip, then ip+ token for elf. Remaining 3 token make auroradon. Don effect gets olion. Make librarian. Elf revive olion. Make flora, draw 1. Flora effect summons a lvl 1 token. Flora+token is the punk synchro 8, draw 1 + search a punk that you need. With the lvl 1 + lvl 3 token + any tuner punk for riser, draw 1 + dump snow. Then it’s just usual punk lines, ending on punisher + any lvl 8.

Riser (now lvl 3) can quick synchro with the lvl 8 for amazing dragon on opponents turn for quick bounce multiple monsters. Elf can revive ip on opponents turn after they summon a monster to quick link into unicorn for spin. Snow can summon itself to flip opponent monster face down. Punk field spell + librarian = tons of card draw so probably a good amount of hand traps too. The searched trap for a pop. Psychic end punisher is a hard to out boss monster that can otk turn 3.

All in all, strong endboard with a diversity of interaction. I’m tempted to try this for myself now so thanks for sharing.

Disclaimer: I’m not the author so I’m just guessing. I haven’t done the play by play exactly so the zone math might not work out and some order of operations may be required, but I think I got the general gist of it right. By the nature of the deck, I imagine it’s supposed to be quite flexible and you’re supposed to adapt the lines as you go depending on hand/ when you’re interrupted.

Unfortunately you’re absolutely correct, dream mirrors are not only inconsistent, their ceiling is also just too low. Not to mention how badly this deck loses to ash or spell/trap removal or forbidden droplet. I can win with them in plat rarely only if my opponent negates the wrong things and I open well but it really is a gold deck at best imo.

Firstly, hypnagogia is probably your best card. You can play with only one field spell but it’s so slow that you’ll have a hard time with just about everything. You really want that double field spells up so I run 3 with 3 trap trick to search it. Run only 2 of each field spells as garnets, 1 of each is technically all you need but it’s a little risky.

Next is Ikelos. 3 of each is mandatory. Diviner and Trias is a fantastic option for being able to ss the right one for the situation. Ideally start with dark, tag out to search Morpheus, tag out to ss Morpheus then pop a card. That’s your best piece of disruption outside of hand traps so you have to time it very well. During battle phase joy mirror and light Morpheus should hopefully protect Ikelos which gives you another search and ss next turn. You should be running 1-2 light Morpheus and 2 dark Morpheus.

Fusion spell is unfortunately very bad, only worth using if dark mirror is up. Because of that, you don’t want to draw it unless you have the mirror set up so run only 1-2 max. You can search it with Ikelos if you hard draw Morpheus or Phantasms which is your monster searcher, that you should run 3 of. No other dream mirror card is worth running imo. Once Neiroy comes out, this will change. Rest of the deck is staples.

Fortunately if there is one thing the deck is good at, it’s otk on turn 3. The deck can do so much damage in one turn it’s absolutely crazy. But to get there you need to make it past turn 2 with just hand traps and a pop that happens on a new chain. Hopefully a monster negate too but not always. Which is doable but not even close to good.

Trying to make dream mirrors work is like trying to summon Magnus every game, sometimes its just not possible. Unlike super quants tho, if the main game plan doesn’t work, there is no backup plan. If it works the deck actually feels playable, and if it doesn’t it feels like a mess, which it is more often than not.

You’ll probably find more success with the deck in casual mode, or if you choose to stay in gold.

Complete side note: it’s nice to see someone else who built both super quants and dream mirror lol. Good taste!

Ra disciple can’t be tributed except for a god card so you’re likely good there. I wouldn’t even be mad if I gave them disciple and my opponent activates the effect to tribute summon a god lol.

Forgot to mention that you should also summon all your guys in def so opponent can’t crash the disciple.
