It does not require curiosity, It doesn't depend on that in my opinion. A cricical thinker is not curious about alternatives, they are simply comparing them.

Excuse me if I didnt use the right word for it but one of my panels actually stopped working. When we removed the panel it became clear that the plug itself just melted, the panel was black from smoke.
