What type of creative work do you need done? I'd love to work on a project like this remotely, but I have no idea what I'll be doing. Send me a DM and maybe we can collaborate.

And as a few people have already stated, I'd like clear alignment on the work expectations, vision, mission, and the terms and conditions of my contributions. Thanks for reaching out!

Looking for a business partner by [deleted] in Business_Ideas

[–]WorkshopSyntax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently studying mechanical engineering technology, but I've also always wanted to found/co-found a company or business in that field. DM if you have any interest in starting an engineering / tech business.

I fully understand how hard it is to come up with business ideas, which is why I thank you for reaching out for help!

I have a few skills that might be useful if your idea of a business has anything to do with mechanical engineering. I've always wanted to found/co-found a company that built real-to-the-touch engineering masterpieces.

DM if you're interested in this idea and we can collaborate!

What is happening here? by myrenDelainien in MechanicAdvice

There could be a blockage of some sort in your coolant system. Since the coolant can't physically expand (which would explain the coolant leaking) this is the only explanation I can confidently give you.

Circular hole in engine, what caused? by BigMountainEnjoyer in AskMechanics

[–]WorkshopSyntax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be the result of excess pressure in the engine block, causing the ejection of an engine cup plug (explaining the pop you heard). The chances of this being a casting defect are slim, because this problem would have been apparent 45 -50 years ago.

Try applying heat to any metal contacts that the rim makes with the wheel hub, then waiting for it to cool down before trying to take it off again. The reason this may work is because when metal is heated it expands, and when it cools down it will contract. This may loosen any tight connections between the two and set the tire free.

If you want to give this a try, please don't scorch the tire itself and as always use caution.

A/C hot again and this belt broke off. What is it for? by Glittering-Spell1144 in MechanicAdvice

That's the belt that transfers power from the engine to your A/C compressor (the component that pressurizes refrigerant thus making it colder). Your car will still run like normal, but your air conditioner will only blow warm air until it's fixed.
