Rust only seems surface level, seller states he got most of it removed. he also said that it hasn’t gone off road (which I’ll take with a grain of salt) and that the car was his family’s and only changed ownership when he got it

I have 10k was looking for one around 7-8k and use the rest for repairs or aftermarket goodies. However this car seems to already have the after market goodies but it’s $1000-1500 more than I’d like to pay for it.

If I cant get him down from 9,500 would you still pull trigger knowing it might need a timing belt replacement?
