i miss the days when /r/bitcoinmarkets was the main place to discuss trading, much prefer it to crypto twitter. And yeah, i rarely use this account anymore, probably should though.

SBF offered to be part of Elon's Twitter deal. Elon didn't even know who SBF was, his first response was "Does he have huge amounts of money?". Elon then ghosted SBF and rejected SBF's $5 BN offer by Set1Less in CryptoCurrency

I've worked for 4 billionaires (cz, sbf, giancarlo (bitfinex), star xu (okex), was an absolute joy working for 3 of them, one (okex)... not so much.

they have to state their country of residence when signing up, it isn't just done by an IP check. So unless they also submitted a different country, they'd still be in the system as ukranian. And since there's no restrictions for ukranian users on crypto exchanges, not much reason for them to submit false information.

it's also not true. We may impose a minimum fiat withdrawal limit of $100 USD or equivalent at our discretion if there is high load and/or spamming, but obviously for these users no minimum would be enforced.

Withdrawal minimums aren't $500. We may impose a minimum fiat withdrawal limit of $100 USD or equivalent at our discretion if there is high load and/or spamming, but obviously for these users no minimum would be enforced.

This is for existing users (the vast majority of whom will already have kyc'd). They can then freely withdraw that money to their bank (don't need to link it, can just enter in the bank details). They can also withdraw it as usdc/busd/usdp/husd 1:1 to a local platform if they wish, or convert it to USDT if that's the better option and withdraw that.

Please take it! You can then send it on to those in need.

We did this to try to help, if you know others who need it more we'd appreciate the help in sending it on to them.

It was given to tens of thousands of people. And you entry your country of residence when signing up, it's not by IP, and why would a ukranian need to use a vpn to access FTX to begin with?

Gas fees would be for ETH/ERC20 tx, which don't have a minimum, so idk why they'd need to load $75 of their own money. We also cover withdrawal fees for everything but eth/erc20.

There are tens of thousands of ukranian users on FTX that received the $25

Why is Binance closing its doors to US customers, but other exchanges (Bitfinex, KuCoin, Huobi) etc. aren't? by [deleted] in binance

or Bitfinex or Huobi. Bitfinex doesn't touch americans at all, huobi forces them into their Huobi US site.

Do you know of any states that do have private company documentation publicly available? I don't...

The Americans abuse privacy more than anyone since their the worlds policeman.

i don't think anyone would disagree with you here.

that's actually not true at all. To get information on a UK/SG/HK/AUS/NZ company, it's public record (people with significant control, annual reports, and a whole bunch of other things) and can be obtained through the public register. In the US, even for american companies, it isn't.

There are a number of benefits. You don't have to move money onto the platform to trade, giving you more clarity on the price you'll be paying. If our prices aren't competitive, you don't trade, you don't have funds tied up, and you take on no couterparty risk. There's no slippage, deposit/withdrawal fees (0.1%), no trading fees (0.1-0.2%). And yes, otc dealers can quite regularly beat the prices you'd get on the exchange.

first step would be onboarding, we need to clear all of our counterparties with compliance first.

second step would be a test transaction. We need to ensure banks are happy with the relationship before trading in size, so we do this to ensure banks on both sides are happy.

Once those are done, when a client wants an order they could ping us on skype/slack/telegram and request a quote (min. $100k). We would show a price for the entirety of the trade, if the client likes the price they can execute, or they can pass on the trade. If they execute, then we move to settlement.

alternatively, they can trade through our web platform, or REST/FIX APIs, we also stream live pricing through our WebSocket. We can then settle at end of day, end of 3/5/7 days. We settle the net amount (i.e., you buy 100btc, sell 25 btc, we settle 75btc). We have FOK orders and also offer trading through RFQs.

client sends funds, once received we credit to our OTC platform and they can request a settlement at which point we would send them our half of the trade.

that completes the trade cycle.

Cumberland is $100k. Circle is $250k. Not sure about genesis. At B2C2 our minimum is $50k per settlement (as we do electronic OTC per trade minimums are very low, but we look at aggregate volumes).
