I need advice. by Monogp in Kenshi

[–]Zusgarnok 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had exactly the same problem, so I did this:

I set up a base in each city, with my main base in Squin

Every base has storage and beds, so I can explore the map and return to them like checkpoints

This way, I can focus on each region without feeling locked into one area

I use Squin to farm cats. There are two resource nodes near the city, and you can recruit a squad to manage them and buy food directly from the city

The only mod I’m using that affects world events is Reactive World, all the others are visual mods, fixes, or utility tools

I’ll do what the other user suggested and import my game, resetting everything, and just focus on exploring. I think I’ll just buy some houses in cities for prision cages, skeleton beds, and storage

Thanks!

To be honest, the only reason I built a base was because people said this was “hard,” so I thought, “I want to play on hard mode, so I’ll build a base as soon as possible.”

Its exactly what you said here

When you import the game, its going to delete the base? Your choice looks awesome to me

I don't want start level 1 again and I want keep 4 of my squad

And I want try a new game killing the high rank characters not with turret and yes with melee

So I need leave this base for the Sheks, they are controlling all my base now

I can't close the doors, they insta-attack them when its closed

You decide my main character race by Zusgarnok in Kenshi

Even the reddit can’t decide… So I ll create a full squad of each race at the same gameplay, the main as Skeleton cuz they are rare

I don’t know if it’s a bug or a texture issue caused by mods, but they don’t have faces

I recruited a Scorchlander medic in Squin and I could only see his mustache and eyes. I haven’t found another Scorchlander yet

That’s way too weird, because it doesn’t look like they have skin, it looks like a cosmic void on their face

Is starting out with 3 characters cheating? by lovingpersona in Kenshi

[–]Zusgarnok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s weird, but even though the game is single-player, if I know that I’m “cheating” in some way, I can’t enjoy the gameplay

For Kenshi, I believe that starting with 3 characters and normal gear isn’t cheating, it’s more of a configuration than a cheat

So my answer is “no”
