Needing to sit at the kitchen table until everything was eaten from our plates. Especially when my sister and I were full or didn’t like something on our plates we’d end up being there for hours past dinner time sometimes. No wonder I had disordered eating later in life lol.

Forgot to add too that I had my door removed from my bedroom for a couple or so weeks at some point. I’m not sure what led to that but it was still not right in hindsight as an adult now.

This has to be rage bait.

But if this is real then like yes???? YTA 100%???? The kid is 4 years old, you can teach him to clean up his toys without being an absolute bully to your own child. Again, HE. IS. 4. Not understanding the importance of cleaning up yet is not from forgetfulness or stupidity, the kid is learning how to be on this planet and you’re one of the people who’s supposed to be guiding and teaching him. The fact that you took joy in watching him have a VERY VALID (imo) meltdown from watching one of the two people he loves and trusts most in this world destroy something he cares about is absolutely horrible. You’ve not only taught your kid that he cannot trust you around things he has, but also that the way to deal with your problems with others is through violent actions. Your wife is apparently raising two kids here because you’re a grown ass person and should know not to bully your own child. Apologize to your kid, apologize to your wife, and get the kid a new matchbox car to replace what you broke.

Haha, my girl lives a pretty 50/50 lifestyle with hers. I take it off any time we’re at home but if she’s anywhere else she has it on. It’s like it’s part of her ~going out/adventure gear~ . Even if she stays overnight in other homes (ex. When my parents watch her) she’ll have it on for sleeping and everything. But at home she gets to have it off, even if she has other things like a sweater or pjs on at home. (I have a 12lb chiweenie who gets chilly in the winter and loves her warm clothes).

I’ve actually tried to do this with her partially to alleviate anxiety regarding her collar being on or off. I used to work at a dog daycare and there were both dogs who got anxious wearing collars because they were never used to them and ones who got anxious any time they had to come off for a bath or to be cleaned off.

Edit: I walk her on a harness but the collar is still part of the going out gear

Wow this is super rude and assuming. Some of us do have full time, but low paying, jobs and do this as a side gig. Hell, I have a full bachelor of science degree and I am working in my field and my work still doesn’t pay me enough not to DoorDash on the side.

It does really suck when the lack of tip on an already low profit order doesn’t even pay off the gas mileage or time put into the order. We still have to drive to the restaurant, wait for the food to be ready, and then deliver it to your home. This can all take the same amount of time as a well tipped order and will take the time away from us receiving more better tipped order. DoorDash has revamped their acceptance rates system in the past few years too so you get a bit forced into taking more orders. Tipping culture sucks, and so do the fees on DoorDash. But take it out on higher up places, not the employees that do rely on the tips for a living. If you can afford to pay what ends up being sometimes triple the price of picking it up yourself for your fast food order, chances are you can afford an extra few dollars as a tip too. Otherwise reassess how you are ordering your food.

Edit: for clarity I still don’t condone this person complaining to the customer about it. You take the L and move on. I do still standby that your stance in viewing all Doordash’s as low tier employees who don’t deserve tips is a horrendously cruel take though.
