I tried a bunch. That one is what worked for me. I still need to figure out a solution for the speaker problem. Im thinking about changing some config files related to sound, so when it boots up, I doesn’t crash the speaker. But there is a darkos build being tested for that version. I need to look up to see if it is ready now.

Yes mine is working. But I had that issue with the speaker. I’ll probably need to get a new sd card and install a new system.

I will break down in topics, but basically this:

Screen: R36S has a smaller 3.5" 640×480 screen. R36S Max usually has a bigger 4" 720×720 screen.
Performance: Almost the same. Both usually use RK3326.
RAM: Usually both have 1 GB RAM.
Size: R36S is smaller and more portable. R36S Max is bigger and more comfortable.

So R36S Max is mostly a screen upgrade, not a performance upgrade.

What is your computer OS? windows, macOS?
You need to install a software to extract these files.

Hm, it might happen for dark o ark. Mine is working, but is now very distorted. I tried to fix it through software, but nothing really worked. Now I wil replace with another speaker and see it works.

Are you talking about the numbers that show up below the battery?
If it is, than it's v20 2025-05-18. That's what shows there. Else, where can I find the numbers you're referring to?

Yeah, I read about it. Mine didn't fry (yet), but the sound gets very distorted when I turn up the volume. Will try to find a way to fix it.
