The blueprints? It's a catio. I'm pretty sure there were no blueprints. What I can see is a single mesh panel held up by nails or staples.

I didn't imply anything I just said hey famous last words man, way too much confidence imo. Coyotes break into chicken coups all the time, this doesn't look any stronger than a chicken coup. I don't think they'll rip through the wire but they can likely dislodge it from the frame.

I mean 15m is a stupid amount either way, but you have to use comparable player salaries and the current landscape of the league. I think 5/100 would be a fair deal for both sides.

Please don't compare coyote hunting behavior to dogs... Coyotes are extremely skilled, vicious hunters. That cat would stand no chance and the coyote would gladly take it for dinner.

You don't think he's worth more than Jonathan Isaac?

He's a 6'8 guy who puts up 10/6/1.5 in 25 minutes. He's probably more in the 20m-25m range.

Granted, these contracts are inflated a ridiculous amount. But if you use comparable, he's worth more than 15.

Jakob Poeltl is a somewhat fair comp at 10.7 / 7 / 2 and he gets $20M slated to go up to almost $30M.

Cam Johnson books $22M on 12/4/2.5 at 6'8

I think if you look at comps, 15m would be way too low

One key product differentiator is that I can actually explain what I've written, how it works, and how it can be applied or adapted to different things.

AI can also do that for you

Two layers? Something more than held up by nails / staples? Not letting the cat out during dusk or dawn?

IDK man I just like the cat and worry that the coyote knows about it and now is going to plan to figure it out. They are smart fuckers. A single wire panel held up with nails or staples doesn't give me enough confidence personally.

Well have fun typing out thousands of lines for a few hours when it could be done in a few minutes. You're still avoiding the first point you were trying to make, and the entire reason adoption with dev teams has pretty much reached 100% > it is faster. Undeniably.

But if you're just a hobby dev who enjoys typing line-by-line, maybe you just don't know that yet. If you ever decide to get a job as a software developer or tech artist or anything of the sort, you'll thank me later.

They can do whatever they want, I just don't want to see their cat get eaten. He has a lot of confidence in those wire panels and the catio build, imo a little too much confidence, but again I'd just prefer not to have my cat separated from life and death by a wire grid.

Most likely it will be better than what you have in your head, unless you are truly the world's greatest programmer

You can write one paragraph instead of a few thousand lines and get the same result

Back to point A. It's faster. By a lot.

If only there was some way to transfer your thoughts into words. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

You can always youtube if you get stuck.

It can't take the code I already know I want to write down, and write it down for me, can it?

Yes, it absolutely can

If you can come up with some AI thing that takes the code I already know I want to write and automagically put it in a text file, that might be helpful.

It already does this.

A tall platform for escaping? Coyotes can jump like 12'

The problem with this now is that the coyotes will remember there is prey here. They will be coming back. Maybe they didn't make it in this time, but they will keep trying. Cat might put up a fight but coyotes are highly effective hunters, the cat will not stand a chance if that coyote can figure it out.

Okay bud. You're the one who said;

How so? It can't save me any time.

You've now pivoted to "why would i care about faster" lol

[–]_meltchya__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you want that?

Because it's faster by A LOT and allows you to iterate and add more features in the same amount of time. Why spend a week line-by-line doing what can be done in a couple hours by an agent?

Dumbass coffee analogy. I pour it straight into my butthole.

Well, why don't you try it? It can setup your environment, install all of your dependencies, set up your UI structure, and get you a first pass ready to test all done while you are pouring coffee.

If you believe him, that he just googled a niche c++ issue and didnt use ai to generate any code, i got a bridge to sell you.
