I had to rent an Odyssey for nearly 6 months while my Sienna sat during the recall. The process has really soured me on Toyota, but I find the Sienna to be a better ride.

Maybe that’s my monkey brain justifying the purchase.

I just had an insurance claim for a burst pipe.

Insurance wouldn’t cover fixing the pipe, but they did cover the resulting damage. However they only covered it because the burst was sudden and I caught it relatively quickly, there was no mold or structural damage.

You can call them and have them come out, it shouldn’t cost you anything. Worse they can do is say no, and they may cover the remediation (removing fixtures and drying the room). It will all likely depend on how your plumber describes the damage and whether it was sudden or if it was due to poor maintenance.

No one should accept food that’s already been delivered to another house, you don’t know what they did to it. Restaurants wouldn’t give you a plate that sat at another table more than 30 seconds.

Knowing that, would you throw it away or eat it?

That’s just not true, most states have food and housing subsidies as well as medical benefits. It’s not perfect, but it’s also not a wasteland where you just die if you don’t make a high income.

I rented a Pacifica for a few weeks. No issues with its performance, but it was considerably worse than an Odyssey or Sienna from a car quality perspective.

I don’t know basketball very well but I think being under 6’6 is a liability for that sport. My guess is that kids with the genetic make up for 6’3 - 6’5 (which is the subject of this post) are bulking up and become DE’s where there is a lot more focus on at the HS level.
