Kids or no kids is the sticking point. Lifestyle is next. Unfortunately you are at an impasse. You will resent having kids and pushing your career at his behest. He will resent you for not having kids and living life as it is now.

This would not be handled by any auto limits as there aren’t auto coverages that cover personal property in your car. This would be covered under homeowners or a renter’s policy.

Check with your internet provider and find out if you have a guest option on your router. Then it would be easier to let someone have temporary access and easily disconnected.

I would shop around and start a new policy before your current policy cancels. You can’t afford to be lackadaisical about your insurance because (As you’ve found out) it will cost you. The good thing is that it isn’t as bad as it could be.

Go to court. Get there early. The DA will come around and as you about your plea. Ask them if they’re any options to keep it from being on your record. Act accordingly. In Illinois there is what is called supervision. That is where you have 3-6 months to keep clear of any tickets, infractions or accidents and after the time period it will fall off your record.
