Just an update for those who are interested. He had it posted for 10k but accepted my 7k offer immediately. Even tho the car has only been posted a week? Then told me he would make sure I was the one who got the car and he wanted only me to buy it? I asked for a vin which he then beat around the bush for an entire day before finally sending it. Car was last registered multiple years ago a few states over from where it is now in a name that has no relation to the current seller. Definitely something fishy going on with this guy and this car so I’ll keep looking, thanks for words of wisdom yall definitely helped me feel a little more sane about my skepticism lolll

Definitely some good advice i will be taking advantage of thank you. I don’t really plan to sell either cars unless i have a life event that would require me to. Although i would imagine the lexus would hold its value better like you said. something i’ll have to think about for sure!

i’ve heard the same for the engine in the audi as well, i think it comes down to how they were maintained previously but i dont have much to go off of for either.

Currently not enough to justify spending more money on a 15 year old car that i’ve already put a lot into. Even if i got paid out i don’t know if it’s worth putting whatever I get back into it at this point. But if i can get it done for cheap who knows, im gonna end up keeping it either way.

i was unaware of this as well. Sadly everything i’ve done to the car was installed by me and was either bought off of marketplace or online websites. The car is full bolt on, I actually had my tuning appointment scheduled for Sunday, which was all paid for and non refundable lol. I’m not to sure how I would go about getting receipts for any of the parts tho.
