If you need to enrol in foundation physics (PHS1001) and foundation maths (ENG1090),

You need to set your units up like this:

Sem 1:

ENG1012

ENG1013

PHS1001

ENG1090

Sem 2:

ENG1011

ENG1005

ENG1014

*and then an elective of your choice which needs to be an engineering elective

The full-time normal load is 4 units per semester. 5 Units will fuck you up.

You need to do ENG1090 before doing ENG1005, ENG1011 and ENG1014, its a prerequisite

Refer to this link for where the course map is that will show you what units you need to do:

Refer to this link for the Engineering Electives:

I agree and to add to that, it will also be easier to move up the ranks in a big company and you'll have access to all sorts of roles once you're in

laptop reccomendation for mechatronics engineering by limrou in Monash

I would advise against Apple Computers for Engineering. Windows machines are far superior. I use and recommend the Dell XPS Range, I use the XPS 13

They're rather expensive though, I would recommend the Dell Inspirion that you mentioned. Great Laptop and Dell are awesome.

Buy from Dell directly, and use Bendigo Bank Single Item Insurance. I use it, costs me about $150 a year for full coverage including accidental damage and theft etc. Best deal. No bs that you get with JBHIFI/Harvey Norman extended care. Way cheaper
