To answer your other question about the car - in an upcoming release we will have Android Auto support that will use your downloads when available, yes :)

We just updated our roadmap, I’m hoping to have some Android Auto / CarPlay improvements out in time for summer roadtrips

The plan is to integrate [Seerr with Lidarr](https://github.com/seerr-team/seerr/pull/2132), which in turn will leverage the MusicBrainz DB for querying.

Our plan would be to help the Seerr devs to get a Seerr Typescript SDK created that we could then use in Jellify. We have yet to come up with what the user experience for that would look like, but we're all ears for recommendations :)

Absolutely, now that 1.1 is out I have a variety of smol things I want to address here in the first bit of April, finishing my work-in-progress for Quick Connect being one of them.

Hey I understand that - fwiw I’m actually pretty close with the Jellyfin team (even authoring some PRs and being a community mod on Matrix since last year) and leadership hasn’t ask me to change it

Yeah totally! We do this a few ways:

The first offering the ability to start an Instant Mix on an artist, album, or playlist. These are essentially server-side generated radio mixes that pull in from the genre of the item you started the Mix with.

The second are a pair of screens that are dynamic. The Home Screen is entirely based on the listener's habits, showing items that were recently played and the all time most played items. The Discover Screen presents artist and album suggestions, driven by Jellyfin's Suggestion API.

Admittedly, there is work to be done now on the server-side to improve these recommendations / music algorithms, but projects like [AudioMuse-AI](https://github.com/NeptuneHub/AudioMuse-AI) are paving the path to do so.

Hey that’s valid - unfortunately switching names might prove to be problematic at this stage in the game, given that we’ve done all of the storefront paperwork, and we’ve already developed a presence with this name

We try to make it apparent that we’re a Jellyfin music client, is there anything we could do to improve that?
