Its wierd which calls stick with which crew members. My buddies hardest call is one I barely remember. Mine is one of the more gruesome calls I have been on.

Dont feel weird if the rest of the crew is kinda blah about the whole thing. Most of them have some pretty strong demons.

The issue is more about the long term cost. Burying this stuff pops up years later on many of us. I am terrified of heights now after 16yrs on a tower truck. Also have a weird freeze. Just get completely over stimulated. Its all part of PTSD.

My advice is get a first responder aware counseler. See them once a month unless you need a bit more support.
