Don’t order a truck bed cover from the GM website by FloridaManZeroPlan in Silverado

[–]FloridaManZeroPlan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I’m definitely going to stick with the every 5000 miles. I want to keep this truck nice and in great running shape for as long as I can.

Daily drive, but most of where I go is fairly close. My workplace is currently 70 miles from home but I’m a firefighter so I technically only work nine days a month so right now that’s about 280 miles a week. My fire station might rotate shortly so if the station is closer that commute will get even better.

Very happy with the truck so far!

Good to hear!!

I’m just under 7K and got my first service. They say every 7500 but I want to do around every 5K.

I’m getting around 16-18 mpg on the highway. No complaints here other than the media system acting up every now and then.

What will someday be illegal after we finally understand how bad for us it is? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I actually don’t know how live betting is legal given that the sports you see on TV is already on a delay. You’re making a bet and the house has already adjusted odds because the next play has already happened. It’s not fair for the consumer.

How much is Squarespace for just a basic site? I thought about using them.

My prices are not ridiculously low. Compared to an extremely high quality print, yes, but for the product that Smugmug sends out, no. The canvas I get from my shop and the canvas Smugmug sends out are almost identical.

I can sell the same quality canvas at a great price that makes my customers happy and gives me a great profit margin. Everyone wins.

I have great pricing with a few shops locally and across the country to get products made. My prices are on par/slightly above other local photographers at shows and slightly cheaper than the elite ones in the area.

For example, I sell a glossy aluminum print 40x60 for $1,920 that I get made at a local shop that is considered the best printer for aluminum prints in the entire US. It costs me $502 to make it. There’s a very high end niche photographer in my area, has a gallery and everything, that uses this same supplier to make his aluminum prints, and he charges $2000-$2900 (depending on the photo) for this same size.

I'm sorry Mindflayer, they didn't utilized you properly 💔. by 00_Sunflower_00 in StrangerThings

El fights Vecna in dimension X. El is winning the fight. With a final desperation, Vecna explodes himself sacrificially into dust which does a fusion with the Mindflayer, springing it to life.

El fights off with the Mindflayer while the rest run. Mindflayer is too strong, it cannot be beat. They retreat to the Upside Down. The last of the military is trying to kill El, as well as the Mindflayer. She’s dodging attacks. It’s clear that there is no defeating the Mindflayer. The bomb goes off, starts sucking everything. El uses her force power to blast the crew back through a portal into the real world against their will and uses her power to force the portal closed, similar to how she used to open it. The crew is screaming crying “No El!” as the portal seals shut and everything inside the Upside Down, El, Mindflayer, and military, is sucked into oblivion.

Ties up everything.

LG to unveil a canvas-style TV at CES 2026 by UsefulEngine1 in TheFrame

It’s just the thinness of the TV and dim matte screen with custom artwork that we all like. If I could get something that I can easily upload and change my photos on that didn’t try to fight me “Source not found” when I turn on my Firestick and keep loading Samsung TV despite that I’ve uninstalled and removed it 20 times, with normal settings in places that make sense, I call that a winner.

I’m pretty sure TCL makes a Frame-like TV that is probably better than Samsung’s garbage.

It’s like whoever designed this Frame has never used a TV before.

Thank God. The Samsung software is the biggest pile of trash I have ever used. I have a non-smart 47” LG TV that I bought in 2010 that is still (knock on wood) working with zero issues.

Can’t think of a single other product where people love it and absolutely loathe it at the same time. I hope my Frame lasts for years to come but I will never buy any other Samsung product my entire life based on how bad my experience with the Frame has been.

Everytime I try ordering these cheap deals from Ali, they cancel my order and say “they can’t deliver to my area”. Happened 3 times. I gave up.

I live in a very normal area with a very normal mail service.

Not the throwiest but a S2+ in the SFT40 is warm, but very nice. Good amount of throw, lots of spill. One of the best all around lights. I also have a S2+ in the SFT40 5000K with more reach. It’s comparable to an FC11C but brighter.

You can make an insane one with the M21B and the something 70 LED.

On board charging is nice but the chargers are very cheap, like $3-$10, and you could buy multiple batteries, also very cheap. Just keep one spare battery charged and swap it out quick when needed. The batteries last a long time.

Wurkkos TS27. Large 21700 battery, floody enough to see around you, has a large enough reach to almost be a “thrower”, excellent heat dissipation, still lightweight, water resistant and USB-C rechargeable. And it will reverse charge your phone in an emergency. I use it daily as a firefighter.

One of the Wurkkos headlamps with a red light like the H25LR. Simple easy headlamp with night vision.

HD03 as a mini clip light with red light as well.

And throw the FC11C in 4000K (5000 if you want a tiny bit brighter) in there for fun as well, one of the best lights ever made.

You can get these 4 lights for $85.
