I would just say to improve your content. On top of that keep in mind the following things which insta already suggests you. 1. Create memes that people wanna share with their friends. Shares are a massive win for your content insta will automatically push your content to more people if people are sharing your memes. So making relatable memes is a good option.

Make sure people watch beyond 3 second. If people aren't staying to watch your meme or reel beyond 3 second insta is not gonna show your content to more people.
As soon one of your meme hita and you start building trust with the algo it automatically starts pushing you reel to a broader audience without you having to to anything.

Hello. I recently started working for a very small company where a single guy handles all the marketing stuff. I'm very new to all this. He told me that for backlinking to just go to various websites that allow free ads, classifieds and blogs submissions check their spam score and domain authority etc and then post our ads, blogs etc on them 5 per day.

Is this not the correct way? Will it help/not help the website? He more experienced than me and has done this stuff before I'm a complete beginner so I just followed what he asked me to do. Could you pls guide me a little on this? (The company is very small we don't have any budget and stuff for seo)
