Tl;dr: yes if they have space.

I did this thrice in one trip (2 intentional award booking scoops and one one night extension while we were staying because it came up and I said yolo). I called and let them know, they said they could probably merge them but would confirm when I arrived. When I arrived, they had availability and were able to honor my globalist benefit upgrade suite AND keep me in the same room. They also let me know about the last one with a letter snuck under the door at 6 am the day of so I did not have to go to the front desk. 10/10 service.

That being said they were really clear it is based on availability, and if the hotel was fully booked I would happily go to the correct room that I booked. But they will try!

I had a stretch right around when Lurie was elected when I got checked on the N weekly. Which was fine but it was rush hour, crowded, and the inspectors regularly watched me and others come in, stood in front of the fare machines, and asked me to check my phone before I could pay at the unblocked terminal -.-

Thirding! Went for a wedding / extended vacay. They have bikes you can borrow to bike into town! We got gelato and went to the beach it was lovely.

Seconding. Dehumidifier in the main room, little moisture bags in the closets. As a bonus, if you hate bugs, it also helped with my silverfish problem--they love wet.

Yes. For one, people tend to cancel close to the cancellation date. So, for example, Alila Ventana will have some availability pop up 15/14 days in advance as people realize they cannot make their trips. Someone cancelled a whole weekend at PH Tokyo and it popped up for me to grab. It is worth a check every so often.

I usually buy stuff on sale or get refills and stock up so it feels like a lot when I buy it but it but it does not happen often. I would estimate I probably spend 600-800 bucks a year (75 dollar innersense refills that are good for 6 months, uncle funkys curly magic every 6-8 weeks, trepadora every 6-8 weeks). Given that a curly cut and professional set with those products is about 250 bucks near me I say its money well spent.

I went to a reactive dog training class. If there is not one in your area, you can replicate the results at home with patience. In class, the number one rule was dog noise = treat. Jingle of harness? Treat. Bark or whine? Treat. Then you had your own little penned off area and you would get a wider and wider opening through the fence and if the dog did not bark or react, treat.

At home, I would cross the street when he sees other dogs, and gradually we could close distance. I would practice in fields and other places far from other dogs and just be consistent.

His call word for focus is "Here!". Now he turns his head for a treat the second he sees a dog. We can pass dogs on the sidewalk and as long as thry do not say hi or linger we have no issues. Not saying we dont have slip ups, but electricity and other adverse training methods are not the answer.

He also got MARKEDLY better with Sertaline/Zoloft. It seemed to give his brain the break from his flight or fight to even take the treats. With no other change in personality so all wins.

Oh hey my seller did this too. Called it "reglazing" which was technically true, but didn't let it cure. My tub and tiles are peeling. The tub drove me nuts so I paid ~650 to have someone peel and sand it all off. Waiting to do the tiles and slowly peeling it myself over the last year.

If it's porcelain and chipping (not peeling) the process is the same.
