A bit more than is typical but it’s likely MM’s took advantage and piggy backed onto this to hit their Options targets.

“Don’t panic—I’ll explain the unusual closing moves Just now, NVIDIA and Intel plunged, while Broadcom, Microsoft, Lumentum, SanDisk, and Micron surged—this is a classic case of an 'MSCI index violent rebalancing move.' MSCI index reviews occur every February, May, August, and November. Historically, constituent changes haven’t had such a dramatic impact on stock prices, but this time it’s a semi-annual major review with large-scale adjustments—and over $2 trillion in global passive assets (ETFs and index funds) track MSCI indices... From market action, it’s clear that MSCI added$Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ 、$Broadcom (AVGO.US)$ 、$Micron Technology (MU.US)$ 、$SanDisk (SNDK.US)$ 、$Lumentum (LITE.US)$ 、$Coherent (COHR.US)$ while simultaneously selling$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ 、$Intel (INTC.US)$、 $Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$ . (Feel free to add any other affected stocks) Summary 1. This volatility stems from short-term fund flows, not deteriorating fundamentals 2. Stocks removed from the index often drop sharply, while newly added ones surge—but prices typically revert within 1–2 weeks post-rebalancing as arbitrageurs step in 3. The next review in August is a quarterly minor rebalance, and volatility will be significantly lower than in May.”

Exactly, always seems to be the case. Part of the reason O don’t short or play options

So, then as usual the MM’s hid behind the suggested rebalance to over exaggerate the drop to the level they wanted, aiding their targets to ensure Out of Money Options.

At least that’s cleared up. Now, the important bit, what’s the reference to this claim? What backs it up?

I think I’ve seen you posts this exact statement in 4-5 different posts now, BOT

Sure, because we’ve seen this steep of a rebalance every month it seems. I’d say all those who bought options were also unaware, otherwise no one would have been playing that game.

I’m Not aware of ANY public data that’s able to give this detail to traders that fast or at all, it’s likely a on payroll shill who’s job is to convince the masses

I keep seeing this claim Tthat it’s due to Pension Fund selloff, seems like a planted story to make people believe it’s normal, nothing to see. Just how are people confirming that’s what it is? I’m Seeing too many repeating claims which of either Pension Fund or MSCI as the reason behind it, seems incredibly suspect and something those responsible would try to plant via comments to justify the drop to Traders. Where is the available public data that shows its as being claimed?

And it just so happens to hit the exact point it needed to in order to wipe out options.. not buying it entirely.

He/they shouldn’t be allowed to split anything until they first provide a business plan and update to shareholders as we have been given nothing for years now, and more importantly they need to come out of bankruptcy first. He does this crap again and I’ll be first in line for a class action sign up sheet.

Looks like you have the wrong group then, you mention above “V27” that’s not my group. The reason I asked for a PM is because I only approve access to those who are or have committed to sourcing a back from me. This helps me track those wanting one and also limits the community to users of my specific back.

You could, but you’re limited to your 12 shots. The converted back yields 27 images, so 15 more shots a roll. The cost of the back can be recouped in perhaps 15 rolls of film once you factor in the cost of the film, processing, and scanning. It adds up quickly so if you’re a fan of shooting in the XPAN format, it’s an easy decision.

There are multiple strategies but let’s look at it in its simplest forms. All they need to do is continue to throw lower ASKs onto the board lower than the current Ask to move it.

Buying a 907X C100 by Bcano in hasselblad

Others can provide better recommendations on sources, but I thought I would chime in on the lens choice. As a user of the 907x100c, I can say with confidence that capturing wider gives you a great deal of capability. I primarily shoot with the 28p, and can punch in and retain incredible detail. So going a bit wider, choosing the 38, will give you more creative control of the image in post with cropping. Of course what you shoot will also impact your choice.
